In summary

Mick Riley Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained greens, scenic views, and friendly staff, offering a pleasant golfing experience for both seasoned players and beginners. The course layout, featuring both par 3 and regulation holes, is appreciated for its variety and challenge, with additional amenities like a driving range and café enhancing the visit. However, some visitors mention that the pace of play can be slow and there are occasional issues with overbooking, leading to longer wait times at tee boxes.

This is a fun 9-hole course with enough challenges for beginner to intermediate golfers. You may find yourself waiting at the tee boxes a little longer than ideal but you should expect that from a fun public course. Some of the tee boxes were a bit rough but fairways and greens were fair to acceptable. Driving range and practice greens available. Great service and food at the cafe.

We had such a great time golfing the par 3 course! The scenic backdrop offers a great experience for a traveler wanting to take in a quick round. Took us about an hour to play. Rental clubs were nice and you could honestly walk the course out was so short, but in a good way! The staff was amazingly friendly and inviting! Thank you for an experience of a lifetime!

Loved this course. Some areas were under re-vegetation - but over all well maintained course. I enjoyed the range under the shade of mature trees.

Ah, Mick Riley Golf Course in Murray, Utah – talk about a blast from the past! Back in the 1990s, this place was my go-to spot, even though it was a bit rough around the edges. The fairways were patchy, the greens a bit unpredictable, and the lady at the snack bar? A legend in her own right. She’d grill up a mean hamburger, cigarette hanging from her lips like some sort of culinary daredevil. You’d get a burger with a side of second-hand smoke – now that’s vintage flavor! Fast forward to today, and boy, was I in for a surprise. My son-in-law, bless his heart, invited me and my wife out for a…

Beautiful course! Lovely open fairways, very well maintained throughout, nice greens, and great food at the clubhouse! A must play in the valley for mid to high handicaps with a good bit of challenge as well. Their par 3 course is a definite must play to dial in the short game! Love this place!!

The service here is fantastic; staff members are welcoming, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The atmosphere is relaxed, with stunning views and well-maintained fairways that make it a pleasure to play. Plus, the pricing is incredibly reasonable, making it easy to enjoy a round without breaking the bank. Mick Riley Golf Course is a place I’ll keep coming back to!

It was a subpar course. The fairways are riddled with holes and they overbooked so we were waiting for 3 groups ahead of us and had 2 groups behind us the whole trip.

I play here probably a couple times a month or so. It’s cheap, easy to get a tee time, and great for a practice round. The course is mostly well taken care of, most of the holes are pretty easy, lots of trees and a decent amount of shade. The pace of play can be a little slow at times, but you can’t beat the value for an after work round of golf.
