In summary

Fore Lakes Golf Course is well-regarded for its well-maintained conditions, friendly staff, and suitability for beginners and families, with many appreciating its nostalgic and welcoming atmosphere. The course offers good value with its practice facilities and a fun layout, particularly the Par 3 side. However, some visitors have experienced issues with overbooking and slow pace of play, leading to extended wait times and occasional frustration.

11/18/25 played a round of 9 on the executive course with my good buddy Jim. Really nice course, i actually played my best round ever! Only 20 over. Really nice driving range and two practice Putting greens.

So much nostalgia at Fore Lakes. Its the perfect place to learn to play golf. The only downside is that it is usually packed and backed up. Otherwise its well maintained and a great place to practice.

Good value. The course is in great shape. There's two putting/chipping greens. Great course to learn on or better your short game on.

Fore Lakes Golf Course in Taylorsville feels less like a golf course and more like a swamp with a duck 🦆 named MR.QUAKERS! The ducks outnumber the golfers, and they act like they own the place, barking orders at you for daring to retrieve your ball. Half the fairways feel like you’re teeing off into a neighbor’s backyard, which is great if you’ve ever wanted to introduce yourself by smashing a Titleist through their kitchen window. The water hazards are so aggressive they might qualify as small lakes. By the back nine, I started wondering if this was a golf course or an elaborate duck mafia…

This review is for JASON! The patron behind us were jerks, even though we had proper pace of play. He was understanding and kind. I liked the course it was for beginners but I hope I actually to get play this course, without jerks!

The par 3 is very fun. Lots of short holes that are great for beginners or people who want practice with their shorter clubs. The greens are very fast which is good practice for harder holes in the future. It is cheaper than most courses I have been to and is often not crowded. When we went it was practically empty.

Clubhouse was being remodeled do drink options weren't available. Fees were reasonable, course was in great shape. Had a lot of fun.

Was in the area with a bit of time to to kill and was looking for a golf course and this was closest to where I was and WOW this course is very very well maintained and enjoyable and fun to play. Compared to many other par 3 or similar courses I’ve played in Utah this stands far above those. Will be returning to play again

One of my favorite courses! The conditions of the grass and the greens are always superb! The staff is friendly and the holes are fun. It’s forgiving with some challenging greens. Always a great time at fore lakes! I especially love the Par 3 side

The course itself is nice, well maintained. But the thing that ruined it for me is that the tee times are 5 minutes apart. I didn’t have a single hole that I didn’t wait for 20 minutes. And there was always a group of 6 people behind us.

I love Four Lakes. I played there as a kid and always had a wonderful experience. I have recently started playing again at 67 years old and it seems like an old friend when I play there. I am looking forward to continuing to use there facilities. The staff is pretty great as well.
