In summary

North Shore Country Club is praised for its beautiful venue, making it a popular choice for weddings and special events, with many complimenting the attentive staff and picturesque views of the golf course and bay. However, the golf course itself receives mixed reviews, with some visitors noting poor maintenance, including unkept fairways and greens in need of repair. Despite these concerns, the club's event hosting capabilities and friendly service are consistently highlighted as positive aspects.

Attended a Friend's of the Library fund raiser. Each table was beautifully decorated inspired by the library book chosen. My sister won on both her table decors. One was a lemonade stand, the other was a cancer survivor table honoring me. Both crowd favorites. Lunch was served, beginning with a salad, chicken fried chicken, side vegetables, and potatoes. Rolls were delivered much later. Servers were a bit overwhelmed, overworked maybe, but very polite. I attend every year just to see which category my sister, Irma, will win.

We were honored to photograph a wedding at Northshore Country Club. Believe us when we say the venue is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect spot to have a wedding ceremony and reception! The golf grounds were perfect for Husband and Wife photos after the ceremony and the staff at Northshore were some of the sweetest, kindest people we have ever met. They swiftly transitioned the ceremony site to reception ready within minutes. Our bride and groom served chicken and steak as dinner options. We couldn't believe how delicious the steak was and how it was perfectly cooked. The venue seemed to be jus…

We recently hosted a baby shower at the North Shore Country Club, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The environment was simply perfect – the event space was spacious and accessible, with stunning views of the golf course. The club offers several package options, which made it easy to tailor the event to our needs. The staff provided excellent customer service, being both flexible and responsive throughout. They were attentive to our requests and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. The food was a highlight for all the guests. We enjoyed a delightful spread tha…

Cow pastures. If you hit the fairway you should be rewarded. But we hit the fairways and you’d lose the ball. Horrible condition.

Greens are pathetic. Fairways are terrible. Clearly this place has no idea how to manage a golf course. Not sure how they possibly get away with charging what they do to play here. Save your money. Find a different course.

Came down from NC to visit. My husband said he had played there about 20 plus years ago and well times have changed. The golf course is a goat track…weeds, lots of them. Fairways are worn and not taken care of, couple of beach holes were decent but overall this place is a dump and NOT worth the price. St. Augustine grass around some of the greens, couple of greens in really bad shape. I feel bad for the members if there are any left. Do not get me started on the cart paths or carts. Hate it for the employees because they were really professional and friendly. It is sad they have to put lipstic…

The course isn’t in tip top shape at the moment. The greens were a bit rough. The views of the bay on the back nine were beautiful. There was lots of entertaining wildlife throughout the course. We had fun. Ate in the bar. The food, the service & the beer were great! Everyone was very friendly.

The greens were in very bad shape from the hail storm that damaged them. Would love to play it again when it's in better condition

What a disappointment. About 20 yrs have passed from when I first visited the club, and the decline is obvious. The country club roof now looks old, dingy, and neglected—completely out of place in a community where homeowners are forced to follow strict HOA rules to keep their properties looking nice. Why is the club allowed to let such a visible landmark on Broadway Boulevard fall into disrepair? Driving past a major landmark and seeing such poor upkeep undermines the very rules residents are required to follow. Such poor upkeep drags down the entire neighborhood and shows a lack of respect f…

First time playing this course, sand traps were in desperate need of sand, some greens were very worn, but the 4 holes on the Bay were magnificent.

Great course with a beautiful view of the bay on the last holes. Staff is friendly. Unfortunately they do not offer rain checks. Nice food stop by the first hole. Tennis pro shop has a very helpful staff and had no problem rewrapping my fiancé’s tennis racket a few months ago.
