Oak Marsh Golf Course

10/23/25 5:30pm. We were in an event center room and the size was perfect for the group size. Self-contained with bar, small buffet and small coat closet and restrooms right there in that room you don't even have to leave. Easy to get to just to the right of the main entrance. Quiet and no external sounds to disturb you like some event rooms are.

We hosted our son and daughter-in-law's wedding reception at Oak Marsh this past Saturday. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Maddie and John were super to work with and the bartending and service staff were top notch. The views of the golf course at sunset were amazing and the outdoor decks were a great bonus and utilized all night by our guests. Thank you, Steve and Roz, unforgettable evening.

Very well maintained course as most of them around the twin cities are because of the weather we've had this summer, but the downside there's only a few holes that are really narrow and tough, b but the cart paths they're like 30 yd off the greens and they you can't drive near the greens. So you got to walk a half a mile. Get you from your cart onto the greens. You could probably shave good half hour off a round. If it wasn't laid out like it is, I won't go back

We couldn't say enough wonderful things about John and his event team at Oak Marsh. We had our wedding here in the fall and it was everything we imagined. John was so much fun and easy to communicate with. We stayed in touch all year as various questions came up. The food & beverage tasting was an adventure (and SO delicious)! All of the dinner tables were perfectly set up with linens, all dishes, napkins, and we were able get in the day before to place our centerpieces and other decor. Great course with a great staff! Well maintained, pride in ownership really shows. Good food, nice pro shop! We attend multiple events each year & they always do a great job managing the events.

What a beautiful morning for golfing. Course is in good shape. Early bird special walking was very reasonable. Came in contact with several friendly maintenance staff out working hard at 6am even on a Holiday, were making sure our experience was the best possible. The only negative is geese and their presents left. Looking forward to next time.

Course is in great shape, probably because the lawns crew is in the way literally every hole. Waiting for them to pass or having to hit on the opposite side to avoid them is getting really annoying. Every single hole we either hear the loud equipment in very close proximity to us or have to hope we don’t hit them with a ball and end up waiting. Mowers sitting 15 feet behind our tee box running full engine watching us tee off. One guy on a mower asked out group to remove the tee markers so he didn’t have to get off the mower.

I'll preface this by saying we all know a lot goes into a great day of golf. Weather, wind, refreshments, talent, and company. Everything must have been on par cause I shot an 84. Now that may seem crappy to some, but my last round was hot as Hades and muggy as... Well you get the idea. The course was well manicured, the greens were easy enough to read, but whoever placed these holes must have been kicked out of his favorite club or something cause the placements were diabolical. Wouldn't golf here again. Had a 4some driving on my step son 3 different times in the front 9..After the 3rd time I requested a marshall from the drink cart never came. So back nine I let them play through. I drove on them and threaded the needle against their foursome several times. The fact that this could have been avoided is on Oak. First and last time to golf Oak. I just hope my step son isn't scared now of a ball landing next to him when it's his shot. Golfed the course today was not told of the conditions or that they were doing maintenance. Charged full fees. They were verticutting the greens and had left piles of extra grass in front of all greens on front 9 and half of the back 9. Multiple shots stopped by grass on and around the green. Went to pro shop after round to discuss conditions and why they didn't inform people or discount the rate and was given excuses that they were cleaning up after. Totally unacceptable will not be returning to this course.

Great 18 hole course with a fantastic practice area. They do well hosting corporate events, my company had a scramble and it went seamless.

The course was in fantastic shape. From the tee boxes, the fairways and the perfectly groomed greens, my 18 holes of golf was a great time. A+ to the staff.
