In summary

Eagle Valley Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, scenic layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among golfers in the area. The course offers a variety of challenges with its water hazards and elevation changes, and the GPS-equipped carts are a noted convenience. However, some visitors have experienced issues with course navigation, pace of play enforcement, and occasional maintenance concerns, such as rocks in bunkers and overgrown rough.

Very beautiful scenic course at an extremely good price. Great golf carts with touchable GPS. Nice landscaping all throught the whole course. Groomed to the 9's from the tee boxes, to fairways and greens, rough was also thick and well kept. Green speeds played true and the bunkers were maintained and well placed. Many additional hazards to avoid such as water, tall grass, woods, and back yards that come into play on most holes. All around awesome couse that lived up to the expectations. Would definalty play again and well worth the money.

I’ve been coming to this course for a long time and never had any problems. Today I was running 6 minutes late (on a slow day). I arrive to grab my cart and the ranger shakes his head and says “they’re already gone” and walks away, with nobody waiting or on tee box 1. Very disappointing.

The course has a lot water hazards, bogs, and trees. It had rained the night before so there were a lot of puddles and the bunkers were filled with water. There is no signage so we had a difficult time finding our T-box on several holes. The cart was programmed to go very slowly in wet areas and close to the bunkers. We never knew when we were going to lose power!! We were told to “keep the pace” yet the guys we were paired with hit two balls most of the time. We found it to be a rather difficult course to navigate and play. I doubt we will go back there again.

I was part of a foursome on 9-3-25. 12:24 tee time. One from our group was late so we let the group behind us go ahead with the consent of the starter. We were probably off by 12:30 or so. Didn't think much of it. When we finished 9 we were told rather brusquely (different starter) we were were slow and to pick it up. Might have been true. There was no one behind us. The group in front was down the fairway a safe distance. Why bother with this hassle? I could see this on a day when the course was fully booked and the weather was nice, which it was not last Wednesday. Years ago I was part of a…

Played here with some friends today coverall, was a nice course! No mosquitoes was huge, very nice, course was decently well kept. We were the last tee time and I’ll tell you what, it’s so relaxing not having anyone hot on your tail, I recommend it! Was $37 ish bucks to go during the week, after hours, I think it shoots way up high on the weekends, so that alone will probably not let me come back, just can’t afford that. Overall, good first experience, may come back… only during the week though when it’s cheaper 😁

Love playing Eagle Valley great layout One of my favorite courses in the East Metro. I am thankful they are part of The Public Country Club. Conditions are great and pace of play is super. Staff is amazing and love the driving range and putting green. Right now the fall colors are popping. and they are doing a good job with leaf management.

What a gem! I played here for the first time this summer and really enjoyed it. The tee boxes are flat, the fairways are lush, the rough is thick but consistent, and the greens roll so true. The facility and staff are all top notch, very welcoming and accommodating. If you haven’t tried it, I couldn’t recommend it any more! Thank you for being a PCC course!

What a great course! Interesting and challenging layout. The greens are already rolling great for early spring golf. Just played here for the first time after they joined the TCG Public Country Club, I will be back for sure.

I'm hesitant to rate the course right now... it's very early season and the fairways were in horrible shape (and a few greens). That being said I have a feeling it is due to winter kill. I'll definitely be back to check it out because the facility seemed top notch, great hole layout, friendly staff. So if they improve the fairways they'll be bumped up to a 5 star rating, if they don't improve I may bump them down to a 3.

Eagle Valley Golf Course in Woodbury Mn is in fantastic shape just 30 plus days to late start to the golf season. This is a very playable course for any golfer. Big hitters are shooting just over 6900 yards with 5 tee boxes down to just over 5200. Slight elevation changes, but mostly a straight forward flat course. Keep it in the fairway as the rough will cost you. A few holes to let it rip and plenty of spots to put the driver away and play what the course gives you. Greens are in great shape, fast and true. The entire operation is fantastic from the clubhouse if you need something, staff kee…

The course is in good shape. It’s also interesting and fair. The staff - pro shop, rangers, and maintenance - are generally friendly and welcoming. However, the Monday morning ranger (Mark) is very unpleasant - negative, smart-ass, bossy/bully - to the point that I won’t golf Mondays and am considering playing elsewhere.
