The course was well-cared for. It was fairly challenging with sand bunkers and a few fairways bordered by a lake. The customer service was great with food service on the course. I also like the country feel. Most of the course feels like a suburban golf course. But in some places you can see rustic farm houses and get the feeling of being in Wisconsin's dairy country.

Absolute Must Play! Hats off to the grounds crew! Course conditions were amazing! The course plays very risk/ reward, many, many bunkers with blind landing zones. Carts have accurate GPS screens with good distance markers to hazards, VERY helpful for first time playing the course, as it was pretty deceiving. Worth every penny!

Played an event here and it’s a fantastic layout. There is truly no place I’ve been like it. Tough course that requires control of your ball. Plan every shot or the penalties are severe, it’s not a tee it up and bomb it course. Greens have a ton of slope and are pretty smooth, they would be my only complaint, they were a bit bumpy in my opinion, and slower than the practice greens. Practice facility is above average but balls are pricey for what you get. Very nice restrooms. No drinking water on the course.

Troy Burne is definitely up there, in terms of quality. The course layout is proper. The bunkers are well put together and hurts your game if you aim for them. The greens are fast and challenging. Money well spent.

In June of 2022, we had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at Troy Burne and would highly recommend it as your wedding venue! The grounds and views are absolutely stunning. There was no need for a photo booth or backdrop because all guests had to do was step anywhere outside for a gorgeous background. We got a ton of compliments on how tasty the food was and the portion sizes. More importantly… the bar area is big and service for drinks was quick. In all honesty, I was nervous when our wedding coordinator changed hands a couple months before our wedding. However, the transition was…

Always a course I wanted to play for a long time, sadly completely dried out due to the watering ban in the area I believe. Also sad but customer service was the reason I won’t be coming back anytime soon. They were completely out of carts due to a wedding. I would say plan ahead since it was a Saturday (busiest day of the week), staff told me this happens all the time too. We didn't get our carts until 5 minutes before our tee time, no starter to direct us to the first tee or range, only a couple of us got tokens for a "warm up" bucket even though there were 6 of us, then harped on our group…

1st time golfing this course. Heard so much about how nice and gorgeous this course was. My expectations were quite high from everyone talking about Troy Burne. It easily met and exceeded what I was hoping for. Absolutely perfect conditions. Even the rough was excellent. Would recommend playing from the perfect fairways. The greens were an absolute joy to put on. Finally the staff had such great attitudes that it made the day a “10”!!!!!

Usually enjoy playing here a lot. Today is one of my worst golf experiences in the last 5 years. Drive an hour to spend $150 bucks. Tee off 20 minutes late. Starter refuses to move the group along backing it up, instead tells us stories, and asks if he can mark our golf balls. Then tells the group behind us to tee off when we’re still in range and two people hit into us on the first hole. Made it through 5 holes in 1:25. Brutal and not what you should get at Troy Burne.

From the front desk(Brady), the starter (Dave), our playing partners (Lance/Carrie), cart girl(sorry didn’t get your name) to the course itself. Everything was top notch. First time playing but definitely will be back! Great job Troy Burne you really hit the mark on a great golf experience.

Whole course was in absolutely amazing shape. Cart died on 16, they were out there right away to replace it. Didn't even slow up the round at all. In fact, I birdied hole 16, the 617 yard par 5, while changing out the cart. Always a pleasure to play.

I enjoy Troy Burne. It’s beautiful and holes 11-15 is like playing in northern Minnesota. I try to play there once a year. This year I was disappointed with the lack of sand in the bunkers and you can see in the picture fabric is visible. Note to the management, you are a premium course and you charge a premium - fix the bunkers.
