In summary

Oaks Hills Golf Course is appreciated for its fantastic layout and affordability, making it a potentially enjoyable experience for beginners and those looking for a budget-friendly option. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's overall condition, citing issues like poorly maintained greens, sandy fairways, and lack of basic amenities such as water and snacks. Despite the friendly staff, the course's infrastructure and upkeep are frequently criticized, leading some to feel that the current pricing does not reflect the quality offered.

Nice layout….needs some work on growing grass to play on Lots of sandy lies and unkempt t boxes. Someone should buy this property and spend some money on it. It’s playable but could be so much better. Its price is reflected by the property condition.

This course has a fantastic layout and is genuinely fun to play, but the grass is currently in very poor condition. The cart paths are basically nonexistent, which makes it difficult to get around. I’m still giving it 4 stars purely because the layout has so much potential. I understand the driving range was sold to build houses. As an entrepreneur, I’d see that as an opportunity to reinvest part of that money back into the course — improve the turf, repair infrastructure, and modernize the facilities. Partnering with the builder to create a combined community clubhouse/country club with upgr…

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing I usually leave positive reviews, but this place missed the mark. You have to drive through potholes just to get in. The greens are rough and poorly maintained. The parking lot was practically empty, so on a slow Sunday, you'd think renting a cart and clubs for a 2-hour open house — at full price — wouldn’t be a big deal. But the woman at the counter refused because I wasn’t golfing. Rude service and poor conditions.

Don’t mean to beat the owner up, but……in 50 years of golf, this is the worst condition course I have ever played. To top it off, they charged me an additional $9 for my wife to ride in the cart with me. Unbelievable!!

No Respectfully Service. No food or drink can be purchased here. We were given cups of ice and told there was a sink out by the ice machine to fill cups with water. Some guy, who lives in their golf community was walking 3 large German Shepherd dogs across playing holes, off leash, and allowing them to shit on course. Tried arguing to leave his dogs alone, who just walked up to us, and all management said was he lives here and is going home. We will talk to him... Really?? Debris all over almost every hole we played. Employees riding golf carts right over paying persons playing...... We will N…

Better than I expected. I'd read the reviews about the condition of the course. They were not wrong. Atrocious is the word that comes to mind. The tee boxes were sand with sparse sprigs of weeds mixed in. There was no distinction between rough and fairway. When watching your tee shot land you would often see a puff of sand when it landed, despite the fact that you did not hit it in a bunker. But if you have horrible conditions and need at least one aspect of the course to be playable, you want the attention to be on the greens. Not that these greens were good by conventional standards, but th…

Course was absolutely horrible. The pictures are deceiving. The whole course is a bunker. The course feels like a wash board and bumpier then ever. It’s the worst golf course by far hands down. Never will be back here

Very affordable place to play. Great for beginners or someone who likes to play a lot but don’t want to spend a lot.

Do not come to this golf course for the driving range or for the golf I showed up at 5:30 parked near the entrance like I have done for the last five years nobody has ever said a word because everybody does it. I wanted to hurry up and get in and grab some range balls because the one guy Rudy always closes down earlier than he is supposed to. He says how can I help you in a rude manner, takes my payment and then he says hey you can’t park there you have to move your truck and I said “really? Dang I said since when I’ve been doing this for five years, even before you were here and so does every…

Oak hills golf club is in terrible condition as far as the grass goes. It’s not mowed in a lot of places and very difficult to find your ball even if you’re in the fairway. They do not sell any drinks of any kind and do not have water even though it’s Florida and incredibly hot out. They are charging 40 dollars to play and you can play basically anywhere else for that price. I do not recommend.

Single worst conditioned golf course I have ever played. Simply terrible…sand on the tees, sand on the fairways and sand on the greens. On top of that it was over $30 per person to play in the afternoon.
