Other people already said what is nice and good about this place so let me list a few things that if changed would make it perfect for me. First of all I enjoy watching my streaming services when away from home. Yes there is a big tv and it has a chromecast device that allows streaming. But chromecast doesn’t support Apple TV+ streaming. One of my favorites. Most hotels I have stayed in have the option to plug in a HDMI cable which works for me. Can we have a solution please? This is a resort that work splendidly for groups, large or small, families and anyone just looking to get away to a beautiful place. It really is charming. It’s big, but doesn’t feel that way. Service is professional without being formal or uncomfortable. They must put a lot of effort into staff training, because there was a polish to how everyone treated guests - pride, hospitality and efficiency. Almost over-pampered, but not. Here's a natural, human-sounding review you can copy and paste: We just got back from a few days at the Ojai Valley Inn and honestly can't stop talking about it. Traveling with kids can be hit or miss, but this place genuinely made us feel like they were excited to have our little ones there, not just tolerating them. The staff went out of their way every single time, whether it was the folks at the front desk, the people around the pool, or anyone we passed on the grounds. Truly incredible getaway. Beds and linens are very comfortable, food is amazing. Pools are all great and views of the mountains from everywhere on property. Great service. Great flexibility to have fancy dinners or casual. Great for families or adults. Food / timing of service could be a little better at the kids pool but only a small thing.

The perfect weekend away for a romantic couples trip or a fun adventurous trip with kiddos. Amazing food, great activities, beautiful spacious rooms, and attentive staff. We love our weekend getaways to Ojai! Don’t miss the spa at the hotel, the farmers market in town on Sundays (rent bikes and bike there and back!). Great hiking and spectacular sunsets (best viewed from mediation mount).

My husband and I have visited many places in California, as we love the State, but I have to say the visit to Ojai has been our favorite stay! Such a gorgeous resort with so many extremely nice people and great food! Would like to give a special shout out to Keegan, Brian and Derek that made our meal in the Italian restaurant so memorable. Victor, Ivan and Oliver who made the visits to The Oak great!!! not to be forgotten Andy, the King of Bicycle rentals and a great guy to visit with!!!!! Already looking forward to the next time !!

One of the most beautiful hotels in the world. Splendid architecture, great art on the walls, magnificent choice of furniture and a great feeling all around. And a manicured golf course and an infinity of salons to hang around. Fantastic place with families and kids. One bothering issue though: the toilets are very basic (not at the level of the rest of the hotel) and worse is the toilet paper: this is the most cheapo toilet paper you can find at the market. Come on Ojai Valley Inn, we deserve better and you can do better.

One of the most sublime stays we’ve had in years. Next level service and attention to detail. Lovely property and grounds. King room with fireplace was beautiful and well appointed. The visit felt very personalized and special. The spa is extraordinary with incredible facilities and skilled and attentive staff. Dining options are plentiful and location to town is wonderful. Perfect anniversary weekend. We will definitely be back.

I didn't stay here but brought my wife and family for a birthday celebration dinner at the Oak, one of the onsite restaurants on this resort property (we stayed at a different local hotel). The food, service and ambiance were excellent all around from the front gate attendant, to the valets, and Oak restaurant staff. It was a packed weekend with onsite weddings and a local marathon, so good people watching. The grounds are immaculate and kept really well. Everything about the stay was perfect. This was for an anniversary trip and they graciously upgraded us to a nicer room. All the staff is very kind and goes out of their way to make sure you are having a positive experience. Will definitely be staying here again!

I stopped in to go to Jimmy’s Pub last Sunday. A lovely day, great Mountain View. The Margarita & the Side Car were perfectly made! Another person at the table had a martini (Sapphire Gin, of course), & said it was perfectly delish. The salad & bread were great! I wanted the fries, which looked fab & folks said they were, but alas, it was not a good day for me to have fries ;) NOT the restaurant’s fault at all! I highly recommend them - have had them many times before & they’re always great! Hot, perfectly crisp, well seasoned!
