Great golf course, been playing here for almost 8 yrs and competed in 5 OPJOs, all of them being great. So much rich history behind this course and a unique layout that gives a strategical player a greater advantage. Also a great price. Would HIGHLY reccomend.

$10 for this type of bold, exciting golf architecture is an absolute steal. The setting is absolutely charming. I'll be back next time I'm in Memphis.

A great overall experience. The people were friendly, the course was in magnificent condition, the beautiful stone bridges and the bunker mounds made this feel like I was playing a country club course. Albeit a short version of one.

Friendly staff. Easy going environment without being chaotic. Really good nine holes for beginner golfers. I’d assume even experienced golfers would have fun on these greens. Lots of undulation and unorthodox pin placements. I played on a wet day and the greens were still pretty fast. I imagine they’re like glass on a dry summer day. Fairways are pretty easy and in good condition. Overall, more diffficult than most family/beginner courses I’ve played. Definitely worth every cent and I’ll be back every time I’m in town. If you’re learning golf and you tend to lose strokes on and around the gree…

Since This course was redone and some actual money put into it The course is maintained very well especially for a “ City” course. It’s perfect for those learning and just an all around fun little course in the Middle of Memphis. Greens are tough to read but 8 of the 9 are in good shape. The price is great especially for my son who is a Junior. Staff are great and it’s easy to make tee time online. Probably the most fun “little” course in Memphis especially for the golfers that are learning.

It's a melting pot and always clean. The restrooms are often locked which makes no sense

The improvements to the clubhouse are quite nice. I also really like the addition of the GPS yardage finders in the golf carts. As of this posting, With a cart it's about $24 per person to play all 9 holes Beer is $3

Great course for beginners, friendly staff and the greens are fairly well kept up with. Great scenery of a historic Memphis park. Highly recommend for those just beginning or want a casual golf course

I’ve been coming to Overton to play golf since I was 12. I love the small course and it’s been fun to come back out with the newly renovated holes. On the other hand one of the employees, James, has been incredibly rude every time I come to Overton. He complained to another customer in front of me about not being respectful. I hadn’t even talked to him. I’ve been out multiple times and he literally follows me around the course telling me how he plays and his rules. I love coming to this course because I’ve grown up here. This is getting old. I played with a couple of women on a mix match fours…

Horrible experience. As a 19 year old girl who has serious feet issues, I asked for a golf cart and was denied one by a young member of the staff. When I asked why, the man said it was because I was a few minutes late to my tee time. I had explained that i was here early and that it just took me a moment to walk over as I have feet issues that slow me down. I was 2 minutes late. I am from out of state and do not know my way around this gold course. He was nothing but disrespectful, condescending, and flat out rude. Will never be returning. Age does not define disability. If i had been older I…

This was my first visit [Maybe I came on the wrong day]! Be careful the front door leads to the kitchen, the pro shop is on the back side. The course is great to work on your wood game. Definitely not a traditional course. Tons of people walking through the park [Distractions]. Some tee boxes are muddy muddy muddy. Surprisingly enjoyed being paired with a stranger. Most people walk this, but not I [2000+ yards]. The carts are amazing, they monitor distance to the green and the flag!!! ⛳⛳⛳ Overall I enjoyed the game but the atmosphere could be better.😎😎😎
