In summary

Paddle River Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable rates, and suitability for beginners, with some visitors enjoying the wide, tree-lined fairways and the convenience of a 9-hole layout. However, there are consistent concerns about course maintenance, particularly the condition of the greens and golf carts, which some feel detracts from the overall experience. While the course offers a pleasant setting and a relaxed atmosphere, there have been instances of dissatisfaction with staff interactions and management of play.

The shape of the course isn’t the best, greens were rough, but for a little 9 hole course in a small town it’s enjoyable to get out and play. The staff and other golfers are friendly and being able to take a baby/toddler and keep them in the cart is a huge plus for families!

Could be a nice course for beginner golfers. Not much effort to maintain the course. The drive from Edmonton makes it not really worthwhile in the shape it is in.

I have been going here for around 6 years. This year is the worst it has ever been. The greens look terrible and the course is in very bad shape. While I was out this year I do not appreciate the way I was treated. On hole two I was asked to leave for not wearing a shirt on a very hot day. I have never heard of this in 6 years I am very disappointed. This used to be my favorite place but it has just gotten worse and worse I will not go back again unless things go back to how they were. Battraps is just out of town with nicer staff and a better course, a much better option for a non hostile env…

Wish I Could Give Zero Stars – Worst Golf Experience Ever Over the May long weekend, our group of 6 decided to try out this course for something new. We called ahead, clearly mentioned that some in our group were new to golf (one person’s very first time), and made it clear that we were just out to have a fun and relaxed day. We drove 30 minutes to get there, booked in advance, and each paid $75 to play 18 holes. We were given no special rules, no mention of time limits, and everything seemed fine when we checked in. That didn’t last long. Not even halfway through, we were harassed by the m…

Really nice course. 9 holes, lots with 2nd greens for the "back nine". Huge tree lined fairways are wide and good for beginners.

Great course to get in a quick 9. I would say this is the course that I learned to golf.. but I'm still not a great golfer! Lots of fun and well maintained. I love that is just off the river!

Very nice course with mature trees, good food in the restaurant. This year (2017) the greens and rest of the fairways are looking beautiful.

For a little course in the country, fun time! Tees were clean. Fairways were well groomed. Greens were well maintained.
