I booked this hotel at 6 months in advance and requested a specific accommodation (a bathtub). I received a call today from the front desk saying they couldn't accommodate it because it's more of a "want" than a "need." I told the lady this isn't based on a "want" it's more on a medical need and due to privacy reason's I don't need to share additional information but happy to provide a doctor noted if truly necessary. She then said, there were rooms available at an additional change and I said if they typically charge people for this "upgrade" and she said no. I asked her to check with her ma…

The room is nice but the walls are so thin you can LITERALLY HEAR EVERYTHING!!! I could hear the room next to me sneeze. During the day trying to take a nap, I heard every bit of the cleaner of other rooms talk on the phone, bump into furniture and clean. It was like walls are paper. It didn't make it an enjoyable experience and I wouldn't stay there again bc of that. Otherwise, the room and location are fine.

The maid woke me up two times after having to drive all night she woke me up at nine and 10 AM. It was super rude and I had to complain. There was no apology. Would not recommend if you’re tired.

Nice rooms but there is often a ant, bug or spider somewhere in the room that is a bit annoying to deal with. Peaceful environment with nice views from the balcony. Not many options for food near by but you can always order delivery. Overall a good value. Would stay again.

Had my wedding room block here and it was amazing! Mae is incredible and she was so sweet and helpful. The guys of the wedding even enjoyed the gold course. Definitely would stay again.

The front was very professional and courteous. They were very welcoming. The room was clean and decently sized. It has a little fridge, single serving coffee maker, and a safe. The bathroom looked nice, however, the water pressure in the shower was lower than I'd like. Also, they didn't have body wash soap. They offered a decent sized tube of body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner though. We had to use the little circle bar hand soap to wash our body. Other than that, it was a good stay. Next time I'll have to bring some clubs to play a round of golf.

A hidden gem in North County San Diego. Beautiful kept grounds, wonderful rooms (bonus: USB everywhere!) and the nicest staff from management (Hi Steve) to housekeeping. The restaurant is a wonderful experience; especially weekend breakfast. Quiet. Beautiful. Peaceful.

Love the golf course but they let people who are not golfers run their dogs off leash like it's a dog park. One lady told me that's why she moved to the area so she could have her dogs off leash.

Absolutely incredible Welcome Dinner! We hosted a dinner for 95 wedding guests in the Sun Room. Traillan was awesome to work with and she helped make this event extremely successful! The guests raved about the beautiful room and how delicious the food was. Adela, the head of service staff, was in constant communication throughout the entire event making sure that everything was running smoothly. The night was magical! I only wish we could do it again.

I had a room block of 20 rooms for my wedding. Very easy and straightforward process. Staff responded to emails promptly. Everyone was so happy with the rooms. We were all accommodated for breakfast (roughly 30-40 ppl in total) quite easily every morning. Would book through Pala Mesa Resort again. Thanks!!
