In summary

Palos Hills Municipal Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, affordable rates, and enjoyable layout, making it a popular choice for both solo players and groups. The course is noted for being walkable with narrow fairways that challenge golfers' accuracy. However, some visitors have experienced issues with staff interactions and slow pace of play, which have affected their overall experience.

Found this course through Golf Now. I had paid for a hot deal which would have included a cart but I was told it was walking only. No big deal as it's not a very long course, anyway. It's pretty enough and certainly does require some decent skill as the holes can get narrow. One par 3 required a pretty good draw to hit the green and be near the hole. Otherwise, you end up barely on the right side. The 9th hole seems to either be an afterthought or is under going massive change. The tee (pictured) isn't marked aside from 2 cut out tee boxes. The fairway twists and turns in a really strange la…

Nice course for a neighborhood golf course. Nicely tucked behind residences , it is a fairly difficult course for the novice . The price on Saturday during peak hrs was $27 each. Beer is $1 per can and packed with ice in a bag in the clubhouse. 9 holes and course seemed to have survived our unusually hot summer. Non peak hours must be a super value. Would recommend for a solo or foursome.! Clubhouse manager was pleasant and helpful.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. The course itself was in good condition with a nice layout, but my round was overshadowed by a very poor interaction with an employee in a golf cart. As I was hitting my second shot on the first hole, a staff member pulled up and yelled at me that I was supposed to join the twosome behind me. This was never communicated to me by the gentleman in the pro shop, and when I mentioned that, the employee’s tone was even more rude and disrespectful. Just the week prior I had played here as a single with no issues…

The course offers a fun and affordable experience. I played on a day when carts weren’t permitted, which made for an enjoyable walk on a nearly empty course. They've been doing a lot of work to clear overgrowth, and while the fairways are getting narrower, they're in great condition if you can keep your shots accurate.

The golf course itself was very nice and kept up fine. However, I made a tee time for a five some as the scorecard states five some are allowed. I even spoke to the person on the phone to make sure five some were allowed. The person said yes! I arrived to check in for my tee time and said I am paying for my five some and the man behind the counter rudely said no five some! He also said rules changed. I said really and all he said were two words in a rude tone rules changed! Then I should have been told that over the phone. I go to have a nice day to enjoy golf and have an altercation with the…

I had a terrible experience at Palos Hills Golf Course recently, all thanks to a staff member with red hair who seemed more interested in harassing golfers than doing her job. From the moment we arrived, she was rude and intrusive, constantly interrupting our group and other groups on the course for no apparent reason. It completely ruined what should have been a relaxing day of golf. It’s one thing to enforce rules, but her aggressive and unprofessional behavior crossed the line. I’ve been to many golf courses, and I’ve never encountered staff who made the experience so unpleasant. If this is…

The course is fun and cheap. Played on a day that carts weren’t allowed so it was great to walk a pretty empty course. They have been clearing a lot of the overgrowth. The fairways are really getting narrow but are in good shape if you can hit them.

Great course, and the price is right. If only fewer people knew about it!

course was nice, but lady in red hair was being extremely rude and harassing us while it was our first time playing. she was rude from the start and came up to us while we were playing to complain about us even more.

My go too. Good mix of holes. Course is nice. Could use some work on the cart paths. Club house doesn't have much to it.

Great local club. Lots of work went into it over the winter. I personally played today. Rates went up roughly $5. Paid 20 for Cart and 11 for Replay. You ain't beating 18 holes of golf for 31 bucks.... with a CART!

3 hours for 9 holes. Waited on every hole. Had people jumping us and called the club house but nothing was done. Will never come back to play here.
