In summary

Oak Hills Country Club is frequently praised for its challenging 9-hole layout, featuring well-maintained greens and fairways, with narrow landing areas and elevation changes that provide a tough yet enjoyable golfing experience. The owner, Jim, and some of the staff are noted for their welcoming and accommodating service, although some visitors have reported negative interactions with certain staff members, which affected their experience. While the course conditions are generally well-regarded, a few golfers have mentioned issues with the maintenance of the rough and tee boxes, and some find the pricing to be on the higher side.

Great 9 hole track. Don't let the distance fool you. Yes two short par 4s, but there is a mix of tight fairways, water, elevation changes, along with fast and undulating greens that make the course play a lot tougher than it looks. It is usually in very nice shape. The owner provides excellent customer service, can be a little hit and miss outside of him. A bit on the high end price wise, especially w/cart. All told this is a fun course and a must play if you're looking for just 9 holes.

Nice 9 hole golf course. There are some water and tree challenges. The Course played a little longer than the yardage.

I was confused by the layout of the place. I went into the restaurant and ordered a beer. I asked the bartender if it was ok to walk around outside and check the place out. I then realized there was a clubhouse bar and upon walking in there I asked the bartender if it was ok that I brought the beer in that I had just bought at the restaurant and before I could finish the sentence she snatched the beer out of my hand and said “absolutely not no outside beverages allowed.” I get it I shouldn’t have brought the beer in but I at least asked and then to be treated like that was bogus. Never again a…

Came to try out golfing for the first time. Was excited to play here. Was talked to very rudely and came across I needed to go through each hole within a certain time frame or we’d all be kicked out. Felt rushed and not valued. Came with a group and 2 of our members were told it’s too late to get a refund. Hope to see better progress in the future as this course is right by my house but would leave 0 stars if I was able to. Was a lady who was working at the bar inside around 6pm 8/20/24

Owner Jim and team make it happen for a great experience! He flipped a booking conflict into a great time for my son and I into a planned scramble. Jim and the staff instantly make you feel like you're welcome - and you are. I golfed here in the late 70's and 80's and the conditions of this course are just as good or better - terrific! Want relax before or after your round? Relax on the deck or in the wonderful sunlit bar for your favorite beverage!

Excited all day to golf here with my friends. First when we walked in we all felt the negative energy from a lady working signing us in. She was very aggressive and so rude. We are beginner golfers and to be honest, this lady made us not want to go here ever again. She asked if we all had golf clubs which we did. Went to car to find out brother forgot them at the house. She comes outside saying “I asked you three times if you guys all had clubs” I intended to go inside to see if rentals and she aggressively said she does not rent clubs. Not sure who the lady was, but definitely not trained to…

This has become my "home" course for many reasons. I'm a high handicapper and started playing here because I was convinced this short-ish 9 hole course would be an easy change of pace. Far from it. It challenges me every time I play it. The routing turns winds from help to hurt and back again in the same round. Narrow landing areas and challenging greens add to the difficulty. As for course conditions, fairways and greens are well maintained and, most importantly consistent. I've seen much worse, e.g, bald greens and spotty fairways, at courses that charge 2-3x more. All this would be enough…

I was so excited to play this course as my mom raves about it. Although it is challenging, it is not kept up very well. The rough is extremely long (and rough) making it extremely difficult to hit your ball. I am a mid-high 80's golfer and play a lot of amazing courses. I wanted to love this course so much because it truly is challenging and very pretty; but, the lack of maintenance on the rough makes me give it a 2 rating. I wish they could maintain a lot better!

I have golfed at this amazing course over 25 times, and I have to say from the service in golf shop to the service returning the golf carts this place is world class. The greens are and fairways are well kept, the course is a great challenge for 9 holes. Absolutely love this place!

Nice 9 hole course, very well manicured and lightening fast greens. (Note, they put all the cups on the greens right on the crowns so lag put are mandatory or else they run off the green.
