Palos Verdes Golf Club

Great food. Casual atmosphere but you also know it's nice. The view is spectacular, golf course to the ocean. We had 6 people and we shared calimari and roasted, fried cauliflower. So tasty! The cauliflower is really special. We each had an entree: vegetable stir fry with shrimp, filet mignon, shirt steak, hamburgers and chicken salad. The service was superb our waiter and all of the staff were really friendly. Great company and the night was made even better by the excellent restaurant experience.

We truly had the wedding of our dreams at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. They were extremely accommodating and helpful, the food was delicious, and it was everything we wanted for a venue and more for our very special day!

PVGC was an incredible venue for our wedding reception from start to end. They changed our wedding date without question or issue when we had to postpone due to covid. Due to covid, over the 2 years of planning we had 3 different event coordinators with PVGC and all 3 were really fantastic. Heidi, Jordan, and Megan were all so attentive, responsive, and totally on it! They even offered us the option to move the entire event outside to make us and our guests more comfortable during covid. The beauty of Palos Verdes Golf Club speaks for itself (gorgeous rose garden, stunning views, breathtaking floor to ceiling windows) and the staff is just as incredible! We worked with Megan as our PVGC point of contact for our wedding and she was so helpful, kind, and patient as she explained everything in detail to us. This is a very nice course, wide fairways. Greens in excellent condition. The staff was very accommodating. Played in the 39th Torrance Memorial Golf Tournament. Will be back next year.

Beautiful golf course. Its by far the best ocean public course in California. Beautiful ocean and scenic view. Difficult to focus on golf when there is such a fabulous ocean view at every hole. Honestly, the course management team could do a much better job with the fairways, the greens and the layout. Overall, best value for this public ocean course. In many ways much better than Torrey pines.

Course is very pretty and panoramic. Never seen such skinny cart paths, the hole layout can be confusing. Nice practice area, wish I had more time.
