Westdrift Manhattan Beach is a stylish and comfortable hotel with a great California vibe. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-designed, with comfortable beds and nice amenities. I really liked the outdoor areas and the golf course view—it adds a relaxing resort feel. This hotel gets it right. Never a bad stay! My experience every day of my stay this time around was great just like the last. The staff is genuine in their hospitality and while you can tell they were provided solid training everyone I encountered enjoyed what they were doing and it came through in the level of service provided and pride they take. The hotel was very busy but I never saw anyone miss a beat. Valet/bellman, Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B all delivered on point no matter the time of day. It felt really refreshing spending time at the westdrift Manhattan Beach, Autograph Collection, because the whole place had this calm but exciting energy that teenagers would enjoy a lot. I’ve been going there every year in the month of June since 2021, and each time I go, I attend an all‑ages prom that allows young adults and younger people to join, which has always meant a lot to me because I never got a real prom of my own. What a beautiful experience. Firstly, big thanks to Dani at the front office for her kind reception and accommodations. I was early and my room wasn't ready but she hooked it up in a timely manner and made it worth the wait with excellent lunch recommendations. The artistic design of the hotel, golf course view, pool and quiet setting were great. Room was clean and comfortable as well.

This property feels comfortable, especially due to how spacious the design was. However, the restaurant charges an auto gratuity of 20% for takeout. This behaviour is basically bottom tier hotel kind of fee. I get it if the auto gratuity is for dine in since some service was rendered beyond punching in the order and handing it to you. Go to Coscto, Trader Joe's, or even some of the higher end grocery stores in the area for food instead of ordering at the restaurant. They're doing water maintenance overnight, fine. It'll be back up by 6 am, fine. It's 9:10 am and water is still not back up, I can't take a shower and get to work. I call the front desk to ask about it, they answer once and then stop answering. I guess they don't want to deal with angry customers. What part of this is a luxury experience you're trying to provide? By the way I found someone's eyelash in my bed last time I stayed, complained then and complained now, I didn't hear from anyone. You need to do better if you're charging $300+ per night.

I’m a Marriott Titanium so I travel a great deal. This hotel is exceptional but I want to single out some staff members for amazing service and assistance. Rafael and Byron at the front desk are fantastic and assisted beyond what would be expected. Gilroy in the restaurant was great and special recognition to Claudia in the restaurant. I’ve stayed here often and she is simply amazing. Always smiling and cheerful and very helpful. The location is amazing, overlooking a golf course but it is the service and the staff that makes this one of my favourite properties.

The front desk lady during 1:30pm shift on Wednesday had horrible attitude. Unwilling to help, and demonstrated very entitled attitude when calling simply asking for water. I’ve been staying with Marriott everywhere I go and Have NEVER seen this at a four star hotel. And the hotel manager should definitely see this, be aware and improve this.

Giving it 4 starts because the room and furniture seems in a little rougher shape than what I’ve seen at other autograph properties I’ve stayed at. Self parking was $48 per night. The staff were all super nice and helpful. Location is pretty good also. 24 hour gym was decent.

Close to LAX. I usually stay at Marriott Airport LAX, but for an extra few minutes of drive time, youre close enough but can still feel youre away from airport. Area and hotel is great! Staff is really friendly and hotel bar and restaurant offer a great view during sunrise and sunset.

We stayed here twice over the past month. We experienced consistently excellent service, the rooms are nice, room service and dining were good. Well run establishment with good service. The manager was very pleasant and she stepped in for the bell to help with our luggage so we would not have to wait. Appreciated. We will stay here next time.

From start to finish, this was hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The service was nothing short of exceptional – from the friendly and efficient receptionist, to the helpful valet, to the attentive food service staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. The food at the hotel restaurant was absolutely amazing – every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented.
