What People Say

In summary

Visitors to The Links at Victoria appreciate the well-maintained greens and the excellent practice facilities, including the driving range, which are often highlighted as positives. However, many express dissatisfaction with the course's fairways, which are frequently described as being in poor condition, consisting mostly of dirt and lacking grass. There are also concerns about the course's overall maintenance and environmental issues, which some believe detract from the golfing experience.

honestly this might be on of the worst maintained golf courses in the us. the backstory is that it was a dumb in the 40s and it’s not really possible to grow grass, means fairways are a must of like dust, sand and concrete. Greens on the other hand are very nice and well maintained. The people k played with stoped after a few holes because of lack of motivation once the course is in this condition. Also it’s extremely hard to see the balls. Generally it could be a very nice course with better fairways, Back 9 is a bit nicer then the front, and the price is very cheap. Sadly won’t ever come bac…

Victoria Golf Course is a mixed bag in the most entertaining way. The pricing is fantastic, the putting greens are beautiful, and the scenery is genuinely pleasant. If value and views matter to you, you will be happy you came. The fairways, however, are another story, more hard dirt than grass, with scattered patches pretending to be turf. Gopher holes are everywhere, so do not bring your prized balls unless you enjoy unpredictable bounces and disappearing shots. The rough is another adventure altogether, the grass overgrown to the point that finding a golf ball in it, regardless of color, fe…

Worst conditions of any course I’ve ever played. Some holes are laughable, just dirt and gopher holes all the way to the green. The driving range isn’t too bad but they didn’t have any range balls in the machines, had to wait 30 minutes for balls. They also do not sell alcohol because they lost their liquor license.

This golf course is in dier need of a grounds keeper ! Everything is dead ! It's rated as the 2nd worse golf course ! The driving range was pretty empty ! Let's hope & pray that the new managment will clean it up !

Well, for the "worst" golf course in the 🇺🇸, I think it's not too bad, to be honest. The tee boxes and green areas are above average for the price, in my opinion. I paid $25 with the cart using the Golfnow platform. The best part is there are not many golfers, so you can finish a round in less than 4 hours riding a cart. There is slight hope in this golf course as it is testing new grass sod on the 4th hole (see my pics) to see whether it can withstand a methane gas from below. Once they put new sods on fairways, it may be once again ok golf course. SERIOUSLY GOLFERS - Fix your ball marks 😒

I know this place gets a ton of bad rep for the golf course itself (yes it has dirt fairways), but the practice facility itself is awesome! You do hit off mats at the range, but I was super grateful for the putting and chipping greens. Played a round of golf ($30 not worth it if u like to keep score) and the guy at the club house was right. "It's just to get out there with the boys." If you want a $10 medium bucket of practice balls and a $10 lunch then this is the place!

Warning! Do not play golf at this Links at Victoria! Hardly a links course. It's a dog run! What a joke of a course. Your playing on dirt! I mean straight up dirt! Par 5 hit it 280yds in the middle of the fairway and your ball is sitting on packed dirt. Talk about a tight lie! It's not golf, it's a joke of a course. Practice facility was fine. Greens are well maintained. However, the greens do not match the carpet. Simply put, the fairways needed water and now it's too late, its destroyed! Absolute worst of the worst! I've never seen anything like it. I encourage you to visit and write a revie…

In my opinion they have the worst condition mats at the driving range, worst I’ve seen at driving ranges, they are long overdue for replacements and they are so dirty, you have to clean your clubs every time you hit a ball. Management really needs to take better care of the mats and members who pay good money every month to practice there

I went to here for practice not for course. Driving range is excellent, both mat and grass are available, all lookalike new and maintained very well.

Save your time and money and stay home. Worse golf course I've played in 12 years. Horrible fairways with semi-dececent greens. I honestly don't know what happened to this place...it use to be decent. Hopefully something happens in the near future to turn the place around.

Only good things about this place is it's proximity and the driving range. Greens aren't taken care of
