In summary

Westchester Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, convenient evening play with illuminated fairways, and a welcoming atmosphere that caters to golfers of all skill levels. The staff is often praised for their friendliness, although some visitors have experienced less satisfactory customer service. Common criticisms include inconsistent course maintenance, slow pace of play, and the impact of nearby airport noise on the golfing experience.

$18 for a medium and $21 for a large bucket of range balls. Costs as much to play 9 holes at Penmar. Beautiful spacious range though.

The course itself is really fun, very short 18 hole course with approx 4300 yards. We played around 4-4.5 hours with little to almost no waiting times. 9 par 3, 8 par 4 and just one par 5. absolute downside is every couple minutes extremely loud noises of the airplanes once it’s right next to the airport, this ruined the game abit for me.

Westchester Golf Course is a gem, especially for those who love to play after dark! The fact that they have lights makes it one of the best spots in the area for evening rounds, allowing you to enjoy the game even after the sun goes down. Beyond the convenience, the staff and fellow golfers create a welcoming and friendly environment, making it a great place for both beginners and experienced players. Whether you’re learning the game or just looking for a casual round in a relaxed setting, Westchester delivers. Well-maintained, accessible, and perfect for all skill levels—I highly recommend…

Westchester Golf Course truly stands out as a place where you can enjoy the game at any time of day. The illuminated fairways create an atmosphere that makes evening rounds especially enjoyable, adding a unique charm you don’t often find elsewhere. What also makes this course special is the inviting and relaxed vibe. Вoth the team on site and the other players contribute to a setting where you can feel comfortable whether you’re still getting the hang of the sport or have been playing for years. The course is cared for beautifully, easy to navigate, and offers a great experience for every sk…

I haven't played in about a decade and wanted to get around to all the courses I've played before. No need to go back. Greens were just aerated, but didn't seem like they'd be great. Not too bad, though. Can't say that about the tee boxes. Terrible, not flat, chopped up. I'm general fairways, around the greens, etc. had no consistency in the mowing. Range is all dirt with a few small green patches, and off mats with no shade. Short par 62, and only took 4:10, so they pace was decent. The weather was nice. So, yeah, just inconsistent. I'll continue to drive to courses a bit further away and cos…

It’s been getting better and better here. The greens have been running fast and real good for a muni. They’re defining rough in places. Play the 1st hole slow, as the wait on #2 can get lengthy.

This place is exactly what you would expect for a municipal course. The greens (some of them) are the only decent part of the course. They are well kept and roll true. Fairway and tee boxes are completely beat up and overall not maintained very well. Decent spot for the price and good walk around a short track. Don’t get a cart, it’s 4500 yards.

Course needs more maintenance. Very crowded and slow play. More of a drinker’s course than players course. Not bad if you can get a cheap tee time but I feel pricey for what you get. Driving range and chipping area a bit pricey as well.

Excellent place to practice for affordable rates! I haven’t played golf in many years and wanted to start again so decided to come here and the guy Chris in the pro shop was very friendly. It was only $12 to rent a large bucket of balls I think about 110 and the golf club rental is free. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Was looking forward to playing a night round .. called ahead because there last tee time online said 9:57pm.. talked to Bobby and he rudely said they shut lights off at 10pm every night.. and hung up. Maybe take off your late tee time bookings and next time someone calls with a simple question, have some manners or find a new job. Definitely made me not want to visit this course during day hours.

I’m in love with this golf course. I’m in love with Golf. This is the Disneyland for golfers. I’d rather do this than go shopping. Anyone that gave me 20,000 to go shopping I decline! This the best place on earth.
