Great course my favorite in Northern California, incredible conditions and really fun holes although very pricey at $450 a round. Greens are diabolical given it’s a Mackenzie track and pin placements can be really challengingl. Play from the whites if you’re not a single digit HCP. Very few great condition public Mackenzie courses out there worth the visit!

Had a great time playing the course and conditions were perfect. All staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant after the round hit the spot. Only issue was the head cover I bought has started falling apart.

Wow! Such a tough, fun, great course to play ⛳️ and a pretty decent burger dog at the turn. Not cheap though... the golf or the dog. Great service, great experience, in my top 10 norcal courses.

Classic Makenzie masterpiece. The course has that old school feel with the added challenge of fascinatingly creative bunkering and the most fun greens you could ask for. The hills make it play long. Love to give this a 5, but the “intangibles” pull it down. This is semi-private and gets a lot of play from public golfers despite the $470 price tag. At this price, there shouldn’t be un-raked footprints in bunkers and as many ball marks on greens. The range seems like an afterthought. Had the opportunity to play last year, best course I’ve ever played. I used to say spyglass was my favorite course I’ve ever played until I played here. If you’ve play here, get a caddie, easily saved me 10 strokes. Whoever gave this less than 5 stars should not be allowed to rate anything…. Ever

There’s something very nostalgic about this golf course and I love it. It’s easy to get excited about playing a MacKenzie course but once you get there you get a greater appreciation for how this course was built and the inspiration that went into Augusta. He uses the land amazingly and doesn't try and make it terribly difficult for newer golfers, but the greens and bunker positions are what can kill you on this course. But have fun because this is the only golf course that almost makes you feel like you’re in a different time.

Pasatiempo is immaculate -- I waited for years until the renovation was completed to play and it was worth it. I've played another Mackenzie course before (Royal Melbourne) and can definitely see the similarities in design. The staff were all wonderful as well. A $400 green fee is fine, but there were smaller details missing from the experience that I've found at other courses with a similar premium price point. Golf carts didn't come with towels, didn't have an ice chest, nor did the built in club cleaner have any liquid in it. I knocked a star off because of their exploitative $35 "booking…

Top 3 favorite course on my list, such a great experience. My 2nd time playing it, the course remodel is awesome, little more forgiving which was needed. They did a great job, employees were great, swag/logo is top notch. Can’t say enough good things about Pasa. Pictures don’t do it justice!

It is a beautiful and challenging course. The front 9 probably to warm you up but the back 9 definitely a challenge for every single hole. Tricky and character, you have to plan tour hot before teeing off as you will get into the trap and sand bunker easily. Putting still manageable except on hole 18 par 3, you better put close to the pin as it will easily roll out of green! It was a fun but tired after 18 holes !

Unbelievable afternoon at Pasa. Was fortunate to play Pebble a couple weeks ago and thought it’d never be topped, but then I played here. Great test and my first Mackenzie. Best course I’ve played so far - can’t wait to go back.

Great and Challenging Golf Course. The course was in very good condition and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The clubhouse is dated but the food and service were good. In order to hit balls, you have to get there early as the driving range is off site. It's a great track for sure.

Little bit underwhelming experience. Course is beautiful, but all that hype? I don't know. And, and,... this course is definitely NOT walkable unless you prefer hiking over playing golf (contrary to what Pasatiempo website claims). Literally not a single flat hole. We'll maybe 14, but even that one has a ditch right at the landing area so just another uneven lie. Positives - great condition and most of the green complexes are spectacular.
