In summary

Pajaro Valley Golf Club receives praise for its friendly staff, enjoyable layout, and scenic views, with some visitors highlighting the course's value and challenging play. However, many reviews express concerns about the course's condition, particularly the greens and fairways, which are often described as patchy and poorly maintained. While the amenities and atmosphere are appreciated, several golfers feel the current pricing does not reflect the state of the course.

I had the chance to play out at Pajaro Valley and let me tell you, it was in great shape! As the GM of the PGA Tour Superstore I have the opportunity to recommend different course all the time and this one always seems to make the list when someone is looking to play in that area. Every time I get down there it seems like there is some kind of improvement they have done. This time the tee boxes and walkways off of the tee boxes were defined along with tightly mowed fringes, refreshed bunkers and greens that were rolling very true. The price is right to play this fun and challenging course. So…

This week, we had a car show, so we gave up going to Monterey and found a very spacious and peaceful golf course while looking for it. It's a very beautiful and plainsy course that I would recommend to Beginner. However, it was a pity that the green condition was so bad. There were even flowers on the green. It's a really fun golf course. If you don't hit it very hard with a putter, the ball gets caught in an obstacle and bounces off and stops. Thanks to you, I lost a lot of points. I hope you can maintain it a little more so that the good location and beautiful scenery are not a waste with su…

This course has potential, but it seems whoever owns/manages it doesn't care. This course used to be on our rotation (weekly foursome), but we gave up on it last year after course conditions continued to deteriorate. Six months later a buddy of mine got a great deal on a tee time so the two of us decided to give it a try and see if anything had changed. It hasn't. The fairways are littered with little white flowers EVERYWHERE, making it impossible to find a white golf ball. If you don't have a colored ball you're not finding it, even dead center of the fairway. I lost four balls that were righ…

Brian, Reilly, Jack and restaurant staff have really impressed with wonderful attitudes and service. Previous ownership was probably tired. Course is a wonderful value and fun challenging layout w same weather as much more expensive Monterrey courses near by. Grass range!! Good food!! Really like what is going here and word is more too come?!

What a well run place. Course was in great shape with excellent greens. I hadn't played here since I was in high school (15 years ago) and its even better than I remembered. Tough par 3's and some forgiving par 5's lead to a very fair test. I also forgot how many great views of the ocean and Moss Landing from some of the Vistas around the course. It's a good value too with a cozy grill and bar. Highly recommend.

Poor conditions, drunk men in tank tops hitting my ball, don't buy the overpriced IPA in the pro shop. Crazy. Has potential but not worth $20 currently.

This used to be a good course, sadly it's being neglected and course is detororating. Most of the greens were really bad and not very playable. Hopefully they will it restore it one day.

Was told by the girl at check in that the course was walkable, however it was quite the workout and I probably wouldn’t do it again. Nice enough layout, but fairways need some work. Greens were mostly good. Too much buck for the bang compared to other corses in the area IMO.

It's an amazing golf course. Perfect cut grass, the green is a pool table, and a really enjoyable golf course. The shop has an incredible vibe that customer service is amazing, very kind helpful staff.

Course was great! The staff was friendly and accommodating for my odd numbered group with a couple non players. The food was great after the round too!

Played here last week and was probably the worst experience golfing I have ever had fairways felt like I was hitting rocks and greens were dead uneven and basically unplayable. But the one saving grace is the staff and the restaurant are both awesome. It doesn’t save it from the terrible course conditions
