In summary

Eagle Ridge Golf Club is praised for its picturesque setting, challenging layout, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the scenic views and the course's difficulty, which provides a rewarding experience for skilled players. However, some reviews highlight concerns about course maintenance, including inconsistent greens and fairways, as well as slow pace of play on busy days. Additionally, while the venue is noted for its potential as a wedding location, there are mentions of organizational issues during events.

It was my first visit with my husband and I was looking forward to it, but as expected, it was a really beautiful course. It was maintained in its natural state and the surrounding scenery was perfect. Since it was the weekend and they were preparing for the wedding, it looked perfect for the event. But the green condition was really bad. The repair part was protruding, so it was uneven. Also, the allergy-inducing weeds around the fairway were so lush that I couldn't find the ball. It's a not easy course, but it seems to need price-appropriate management.

Tucked in scenic canyons and surrounded by beautiful homes, Eagle Ridge offers stunning views and a tough, rewarding round. Open yet tight fairways and unforgiving greens demand precision, but the good pace of play makes it a joy to play.

Came down from Livermore with some buddies to play Eagle Ridge Golf for the first time. It was well worth the drive. First off, the staff was super nice and accommodating as we accidentally booked a tee time that was not covered by the discount we were using but they let us play anyways (so awesome of them!), second, the course is located in a picturesque location among hills (did not know it was so pretty in Gilroy), and third, the course was in absolutely amazing condition and super fun. The course was difficult but fair. We can’t wait to play Eagle Ridge Golf again soon. I highly recommend…

53$ rate for reward members for 1.5 hours of golf (63$ for non-members!?) They advertise a 35$ rate for 2024. Tons of ground under repair and thin grass. Very difficult course as well. 53$ is bananas for the product received. 2025 update: 25$ walking 9 hole rate is better than what they’ve offered in the past. However, it’s still carnival golf. Pins on false fronts, fairways, rough, and green side areas in terrible condition. Not playable.

This course has so much potential if it was properly maintained and watered. You can tell they’ve let it go. Not worth $113, I’ve played many munis that are in much better shape! poa/weeds/dead spots all over the greens, weeds every where from tee box to fairway. You drive in thinking it’s going to be a nice course with all the beautiful homes but it was such a let down. 5hr 45min round, no Marshals. Waited every shot. The employees were friendly, I was really impressed with the cart lady. We saw her 6 times! Wish we would have played San Juan Oaks for $60 more

Really good course and well maintained. Narrow fairways, better bring your long iron for tee off.

In my opinion, this is the most challenging golf course in South bay. Greens though big but very undulating. Many holes require force carry of 150-200 yards after a good drive.

My father and I play here every week. Prices are great and the course is in good condition (most traps are considered ground under repair). Some very challenging holes and a good mix of easier holes. The greens can be very fast so beware.

Rhis was a great course. Met my buddy here as a halfway point and plaued 18. Great experience, we were paired with 2 others whom we had a great time with. This course seems to have a positive, helpful staff. The process from check-in to first tee was easy..... they even clean your clubs at the last green, which is freaking sweet.... the only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is the PACE OF PLAY. While we had a great round, it took just OVER 5 HOURS, which is ridiculous. The problem wasn't the pair in front of us but the foursome in front of them.... I know everyone has to learn the game so…

Greens are in terrible condition. The facility itself is in poor condition and not much on food options. This was a premier place to play but sadly the owners have not kept this place up! Don't get me started on the bathroom conditions either...

It is so green even in the summer. The course is beautiful and challenge. It is a hidden gem. Regret did not play it earlier. It could be even better if golfs can fix their ball marks on the greens and divots on the fairway. It is shameful for golfers with a bad habits.
