Gavilan Golf Course is frequently praised for being an affordable and welcoming option, particularly suited for beginners and those looking to practice their game. The course is noted for its friendly atmosphere, scenic views, and well-maintained greens, despite some comments about slow and uneven conditions. This is a nice course to play and have fun. Easily walked - but carts are available if you need them. Everyone is friendly and will welcome you into their group. So if you’re looking to play and have fun with your friends - this is the course for you.

Good driving range, good 9 hole course to learn on and easy on the wallet (low cost).

The greens were the best I've ever seen and the course as a whole is in really good shape. Nice job, Gav!

Nice executive course with two uphill holes. Can be a bit windy, but welcome on hot days. Fairways are narrow so keep em straight. Fairways and greens are slow. Took about 1 hour to play 9 holes walking. Will return when heading to Monterey

This course is perfect for beginners and those looking for a good round of golf. The course could be in better shape. But it's really a decent layout. Just have trouble finding the fairway grass

Great place to practice without breaking the bank. Perfect for beginners, not just a pitch and putt which is nice. Can't beat the price.

What an awesome place to golf. It's low key and cheap. I've never had an issue on this course and it welcomes beginners. Very easy par of 31. Come enjoy!
