In summary

Passaconaway Country Club is widely praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly, accommodating staff. The course offers a good mix of long and short holes, making it suitable for various skill levels, and is considered a great value for the price. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, particularly on the back nine, as well as challenges with blind shots on certain holes due to overgrown vegetation. Additionally, the facility's cashless policy has been a minor inconvenience for some.

I've been going here off and on for years, and I'm constantly amazed by the quality of the course and the condition that it's in. It's not perfect, there are some wet, swampy areas on some holes and they can be mildly annoying, but not terrible. For a public course, you really can't beat it for the price, condition and service. The staff is always great. For the most part, they do a great job keeping play moving, though there have been times when you'd wish there was a ranger around, but what course doesn't have that problem? ;-) It's can be a little long on the back as a few other reviews ha…

I hate the course. 4th and 5th holes are unplayable for me. You can't see where your ball lands. Then the ranger tells to pick up your pace of play. They could use a for caddy there, but I don't think they could see where the ball landed. Hole 3, I hit my 3rd shot down the middle left side, I couldn't find it in the rough. Folks are great. Course in good shape. Greens recently punched. Cashless is blah. Charging a 6 bucks breakfast sandwich is stupid. Rather, leave ten bucks for it on the bar. A lot of potential , but I think the growth of the vegetation has taken over the course.

Nice well-kept course. Rates are a little high. It's an open straight course with minimal hazards. There are lots of long par 4s and a 540 yard par 5.

Best course in southern nh for the price. Great condition, decent round time 4hr 20min. Gets long on the back.

Overall course and greens were great. The starter today was super nice and friendly! The course is fairly challenging. Some very narrow fairways, but sometimes you can play from the adjacent fairway. You will probably hand people hitting in your fairway a decent amount.

An absolute beauty of a public course that is always very well maintained from the first tee to the 18th green. It’s a fairly long but relatively flat course with some challenges along the way. The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is spacious and clean offering up a nice selection of drinks and a quick bite to eat after the round. Passaconaway is one of my favorite public courses in the area and should be a must play to all serious public golfers.
