Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club

First time and will definitely not be the last one at this golf course. Loved the fairways, great maintenance and very nice (and tricky!!) greens.

Currently this course is in rough shape. I’ve never played here beforehand and based on its current condition, I’m not sure I’ll be back. The fairways are rough, going through construction, and the it’s very easy to lose a golf ball if it rolls in to the rough.

Food and Service just “OK”. I didn’t care for the bourbon chicken at all. I mentioned it to the server and was not offered a new entree and was still charged. The key lime pie was great

It’s incredibly disheartening to witness what should be a beautiful golf course fall into such neglect. The club's website proudly advertises “27 beautiful holes of golf” and regular tournament play—but the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. I have never seen a course in such poor cosmetic condition. There appears to be zero pride taken in the upkeep of what should be the country club’s crown jewel. I had a wonderful experience having a family event for 80 people! All guests were happy with the meal and food presentation - the Chef and kitchen staff did an amazing job. Julianna with the service team were very attentive and diligent making sure all guests are taken care of. Julianna with Michelle did wonderful job coordinating many details and were always available to address any of my questions. I would definitely recommend the Club at Pecan Grove if you are looking to have an event with a great service and experience that will be budget-friendly as well.

Played here twice. Pecan to Plantation both times and would keep coming back. Friendly staff and really impressed with the Marshall here. He circled around often, made small talk when pace was good and asked groups to pick up pace when it was slow. I really wish there was a bathroom on the back 9, but the starter does a great job of reminding you at the turn that there isn’t one so to make a pitstop at the clubhouse if needed. Course is in good condition and the cart has a gps which is always a plus.

Pecan Grove is a gem! The facilities are solid, and the course layout is fantastic. The people here really make it a great experience, too. I’m excited to see what the future holds for this place!

This was one of the most disappointing and unprofessional experiences I have had at a golf course and restaurant. On Saturday the 28th, I was playing with friends and went to the bar to order a couple of drinks. The bartender prepared the drinks incorrectly. I ordered a transfusion, which is a simple four-ingredient cocktail, but it was made with cranberry juice. When I politely asked for it to be corrected, the bartender insisted the drink was made properly, even though it clearly was not. Additionally, the service at our table was frustrating. PROS: Staff is super nice and friendly. CONS: Everything else. Gas powered carts are super loud. Greens are mostly terrible and some are just unplayable. Weeds have taken over the rough. Fairways and tee boxes are hard as cement except for the areas where there are irrigation problems and those are flooded. There is no drinking water or beverage service on the course so prepare ahead. This club is tired and worn out.

Very disappointed with the quality of service received by pecan grove. I made a wrong tee time accidentally on GolfNow and the club was not willing to help me move it. They said we can’t do anything you will just have to loose the money ($210) because it was booked through GolfNow! Seems like a money grab to me that they were not willing to work with a long time customer.

Stopped here to simply use the green to putt. Some old grouchy cantankerous Marshall, Stopped me to ask why I was there. The nerve!! This place is horrible!! Bad staff, bad golf course, course not maintained, and a group of old retired unprofessional wannabes throwing their weight around. Stay away from this place, it’s not a good golf course and the folks that work there are a true representation of why.
