In summary

Pheasant Run Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff and suitability for beginners, with some visitors enjoying its executive par 3 layout and night golf options. The course has seen improvements in maintenance, though some areas remain in poor condition, and the facilities are noted as dated. Common concerns include slow pace of play, overbearing marshals, and inconsistent customer service, which can detract from the overall experience.

The young lady and young man working the club house this past week were INCREDIBLE. It’s been a long time since I went to a club house and was met with that kind of hospitality. Very accommodating and personable. Made for a very enjoyable round of night golf!

I've played this course numerous times over the course of 20+ years. I have seen the course go through quite a few changes, good and bad. The course, as of yesterday, is in the best shape it's been in a long time. You can certainly tell they've invested money and time into the course over the past couple years. What I don't like about the course is how crowded it is. I've played the course 4 times this year, and each time, the wait time on the tee boxes is ridiculously long. Yesterday was no exception as we sat and waiting on EVERY box for at least 5 minutes, and some even 10 minutes. It took…

The course is moderately well kept. What brings down its ranking is too many players abusing the course. There is too much trash and other debris on the course. It is a good course for anyone needing to get in their golf fix in a hurry.

Great executive course to work on basic skills! Very friendly staff and best concession hot dogs around!

I'm sad to leave this review. Here's why: 10 years ago I started taking my five year-old to the neighboring chip-and-putt at Golf Headquarters. It was there he developed a real love for the game and begged me to take him every chance we could get. I fueled that passion by promising if he could consistently break par on the chip-and-putt he could "graduate" to the par 3 next door at Pheasant Run (and promising a bag of gummy bears for every birdie he made also didn't hurt). We logged nearly 100 rounds of chip-and-putt chasing goals (and gummy bears). And every time we'd reach the green on the…

My wife and I have enjoyed this GOLF Course and their clubhouse facilities since 2012. From a beginners golf perspective, this par 3 is perfect for learning and the fees reasonable. My wife learned to play golf at this course! In December 2018 we hosted a small wedding in the "Great Room" after my wife had admired the warmth and openness of the rear extension. Recently we hosted a "Baby Reveal" for our daughter who was so enamored from her past experience there when she got married. Now our daughter is considering this location for her baby shower next February. All of this to say, for smaller…

Pesky Marshall sure did bother our golf group this morning. We had 2 interactions where he is barking orders and we have not even started our morning tee time. Also, the play was slow all day!😌

Pretty low tier course. Pro shop and bar is extremely small and dated. Course has some pretty terrible tee boxes. Nasty bunkers. The worst part is the other golfers. Mostly teens trying to sneak out and get wasted. Honestly it’s really just a last resort if you want to golf.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I left my rangefinder on the cart about a week ago so I went in on Wednesday July 16th to see if it was turned in. They asked me what kind it was and I told them it was a bushnell tour v6 shift (retails for about $400). They said they had it but needed proof that it was mine. I don’t have the receipt of buying it so I wasn’t allowed to take it even though it was clearly mine. This lack of customer service was all caused by the lady working Wednesday July 16th. I’m now out $400 because she’s probably gonna sell it on eBay. Absolutely awful experience have a…

Nice little par 3 course with a few par 4's. Don't let the par 3 moniker fool you. Plentiful challenging holes with sand traps and water hazards. They've recently added a sprinkler system throughout the course. You can tell they're making an effort to maintain course in every aspect. Staff is helpful and friendly. There's a bar and some food. Also, they have supplies if you're out of balls, tees, gloves, etc.

Occasional player, novice skill level. Course is not very well maintained, “pro shop” is dark and dated, staff were untrained and unfamiliar of their role, carts were dirty and damaged. Honestly wouldn’t recommend for the price. If it was half as much it would be a ok place to practice at.

Tee boxes are destroyed and never maintained...good luck setting your feet on the surface of the moon. Fairways and Greens filled with tons of sticks & geese poop...yet the course Marshall with still have the audacity to hound you for the little things. Maybe spend some more time with grass seed in your hand and less time pestering people on the 17th. You can hope that old raisin course Marshall isn't working the day you go.
