In summary

Missouri Bluffs Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and scenic location near the Missouri River. However, some visitors express concerns about inconsistent pricing, slow pace of play, and unfriendly staff, noting that these issues can detract from the overall experience. The clubhouse is undergoing renovations, which may impact some amenities.

Great course, beautiful layout - fun, but still challenging. The course was in great shape overall, but some tee boxes hadn't been cut in a long time, and it was quite muddy despite dry weather. Clubhouse is closed for renovations currently.

Very disappointed. I booked online a week in advance, but when we arrived, the cost was 50% higher than the listed price. The employee said he had changed the price because it was “Columbus Day,” with no notice or warning — just “it is what it is.” They’ve also implemented a new pace-of-play system: green means on time, red means slightly behind, yellow means speed up, and magenta means “you’re in trouble.” We were delayed at the start by the marshal, and even with that delay, after just six holes we were marked as red for being only two minutes behind. The marshal told us we were “magenta an…

Great course! Don’t let the reviews fool you. Fun yet challenging layout. Course is in perfect condition right now. Book an early tee time if you’re in a rush. Will be back!

Beautiful course tucked away next to the Missouri River. Its challenging with a great layout. You pay a premium price, but the course matches with premium quality and a country club feel, without the pretentiousness. I played it in the winter and it was still well taken care of.

I was paired with two awesome gentlemen my teatime was 3 PM and I never made it to the 12th hole due to slow play. Went to the pro shop and asked for a rain check and was refused. The course was wonderful. The people were not friendly.

I was one of the first people to sign up for their PLP program. I dropped it after 3 months for the following: 1. Range times open times are always a challenge. They close 2-3 hours early without reason or notification. 2. Was promised to be emailed of weekly clinics and etc. never got the email.. think the guy who works the desk is Paul? When I ask him about it - he throws attitude.. huffs and puffs… and says it’s updated. Can’t be because I never got an email. Ever! 3. Some of the front desk people will give you a small discount when you book a normal tee time for being PLP. Some will not a…

Was told one price, then $ 30.00 higher when checked in. The counter man was rude and acted like it was a pain to be there. There’s a strict time limited which makes it feel your being pushed. Not an enjoyable day of golfing at all. They take all the fun out of playing. Will never play there again.

Course was in great shape. Clubhouse is going through renovations that look to be going well. All of the staff were nice with the exception of the counter guy in the pro shop. Seems to hate his job.

If you’re playing November or anytime during non summer times, be careful because they do not think about the golfer. Showed up for a 9:16 tee time and they said they were 30 minutes behind. No communication and it ended up being an hour behind. No shotgun start, nothing. Did they give free balls or anything for the wait? Nope just made everybody wait around. Sat around and sat around some more. Happened to be in the pro shop when someone called in for a 1 pm tee time. They didn’t even relay they were an hour behind. They just want our money. Period. On top of it all, didn’t have the special…

I like the course - it’s not in the best shape though. Don’t play here on the weekends unless you love 5 1/2 hour rounds, no marshals to speed things along, and a clubhouse that is under construction. Marshals need to do a better job at monitoring the pace of play. The one marshal guy I saw was just hanging out chatting with his high school buddies while we made the turn in just under 3 hours. Unacceptable - especially for a premium public course! Really ruins a round when waiting 20 minutes on every shot.

Beautiful course in great condition. From the tee boxes to the greens, the course was well manicured with lots of elevation changes.

Honestly i really enjoy this course. What I don't enjoy is the price, the pace of play, and showing up early to warmup then being asked to tee off early. I understand it from the starter perspective "if you're here you can go" but i dont know I want to enjoy my warm up. Outside of that it's a fun layout that does require a half decent driver and can be rewarding to play.
