I played there for my first time today.. My experience was excellent.. Starting out with the friendly people in the pro-shop and then the friendly lady in the restaurant.. Then being helped by a friendly young man helping me get a golf cart and also a very friendly and helpful starter.. I have played each 9 hole course multiple times. They’re all great. The ground conditions are kept in good order. There is work being done to improve some areas but it doesn’t get in the way. The scenery is beautiful. The staff is always super-friendly. The clubhouse food is delicious. Literally the best pizza around. I’d drive there just to order a take-out pizza.

Impressive course. Lots of elevation changes. Somewhat tight fairways. Conditions were a lot nicer than I expected. I would definitely come back here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too

Really solid golf club. The course is in great shape, fairways were clean, greens rolled nicely, and you can tell the grounds crew actually cares. Not overly punishing for casual golfers, but still enough challenge to keep things interesting. The staff were friendly without being overly formal, and the pace of play was surprisingly smooth even on a busy day. The clubhouse is comfortable, with good food and a relaxed vibe. Prices are fair for the quality you get. Overall, definitely worth the 4.5 rating. Had a great round and would happily come back again.

First time playing this course. It was well worth the hour drive. There are 27 holes. I started on the Highlands nine. Beautiful elevation changes with narrow tree-lined fairways. The second and fourth holes were breath taking. It’s not the longest course but definitely accuracy is a premium here. The next nine were the Midlands. Not as much elevation changes and much more wide open on the fairways for the first few holes. Midlands got tighter with more elevation on holes 6-9. Absolutely stunning scenery, the course is challenging and very well taking care of. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to play this course many times and pheasant run has become my new favourite course in the York region area.

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Rebecca! From the moment we met her, she made us feel calm, supported, and completely confident that our big day was in the best hands. I’m part of a cycling group that stops for a wonderful patio lunch at the club. Even though we are not golfers, we are warmly greeted by everyone including the owner, general manager, chef, servers and counter staff. The food is always fresh cooked and enjoyable. The patio is a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal, snack or drink in a beautiful country setting.

June 12, 2025 I was photographing the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic. From the moment I arrived, Graham made me feel welcome—set me up with a golf cart and was helping everyone get ready. Best Golfing experience in Toronto! It was my first time here. Where's the 6 star button?! I live an hour away from this location and it was worth the travel. Course was immaculate, challenging and fun! Staff was friendly and patient, walked us through all we needed to know. I'm going back ASAP. Take my money, phesent run!

I had my wedding here on June 7. It was the absolute perfect day and nothing could have gone better. Rebecca is an angel sent from heaven above. The sweetest, most supportive, most organized woman! SHE is the reason our wedding was perfect. She was constantly reading my mind and doing everything for us before I even asked! She is AMAZING!! I promise if you book your wedding here you will not regret it. The food was also incredible. My guests kept going on and on about it! Trust me - book your wedding here!!!!!

Great views and a tough, well-kept course. However, we had a pretty bad experience with a rude marshal. It’s a solid spot to play, but the customer service could use some work.
