In summary

Picton Golf & Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and scenic views from the clubhouse. Many appreciate the course's challenging layout despite its shorter length, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play, pricing, and negative interactions with club management, which have affected their overall experience.

Great course. Not long but definitely challenging. In great condition including bunkers. Great view at the balcony of the clubhouse. Ends with a par 3 which I’m not a fan of for courses will play again for sure.

If you’re looking for a golf course for a round in PEC this is a great track. The course is well maintained, the staff are friendly and attentive, and there is a great membership base that has been nothing but inviting and welcoming to a new member like myself (joined last year). I’ve enjoyed each round I’ve played. It can slow down a bit on holes #5 through #9 on occasion, but it’s nothing crazy. Most rounds still play in 3h30m to 4h20m. The course isn’t long, but the course does require you to hit good shots. As there’s not many places to miss. Tee times are spaced 10 minutes apart. Bevera…

Nice club, nice view, great way to spend an afternoon. The greens are kept well and the layout of the grounds is unique enough to have you turned around in no time. They put on a nice spread of food and dessert for big groups as well.

Great course, lovely pro shop staff, and the cart girl even sent out drinks that aren't usually on the cart! Great service !!!

I really enjoyed the course and the friendly people but sadly I won't be supporting anything in Picton anymore until the Picton Gazette either shuts down or apologizes to Rebel News

From checking in to finishing playing it was a great day! Friendly staff all around. Course was in great condition. Would have rated a five star but the hotdog at the turn was like leather 🤣. Maybe just a beer next time 👍⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Frustrating golf experience, suggest playing elsewhere. Played 9 holes mid week 10:00 AM. We were warned by two staff before we teed off that pace of play is 2 hours - they even painted a slogan telling you to play quickly In the men’s locker room. They just raised green fees; 10 minute tee times, push carts extra. We played 5 holes and the twosome in front of us (with a cart) got two holes ahead. Marshall came out and asked us to speed up even though we were on pace for 2 hours (this is a full length course with no finding balls if you stray from fairway). Finished in 2:00 - I’ve not been…

I am a member here and have lived in PEC my entire life. The people and the grounds here are top notch. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful golf ⛳️ course. It is my home away from home. 😎

I just played for the first time at Picton g&cc. It was in great shape and enjoyed for the most part. The staff there was great. My only 2 issues. Some of the greens to tee box was pretty close together. Made me worry a little I would miss hit and hit folks teeing off. The other issue. The restaurant closed at 5pm on a Thursday. With the great view overlooking the water this was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. We thought tee off at 1 finish at 5 would have lots of time for dinner. :( all said good place to play a round

Course in excellent shape and great value for money. No driving range but there is one up the road. Professional staff. The new greens keeper has made some excellent changes. Greens run true at a reasonable speed. Really enjoying our experience here.

Nice course...well looked after. Had a great day...so much so, that I let a few golf balls free on the front9. Do it again in a heartbeat!

Course is very nice and was in good shape. Greens were excellent. Everyone we spoke with was super friendly and welcoming. Course was fully booked while we were there but we didn't feel rushed or that we were pushing the group ahead.
