In summary

Pierce Lake Golf Course is highly regarded for its excellent condition, well-maintained fairways, and fast greens, offering a scenic and thoughtfully designed layout that balances challenge and playability. The course is praised for its value, providing an enjoyable experience with a welcoming staff and good amenities, including a friendly beverage cart service. While most experiences are positive, some visitors have noted areas for improvement, such as the need for GPS on carts or range finders on flagsticks, and occasional issues with customer service in the pro shop.

Pierce Lake is a beautiful course in excellent condition. Hole 8, a par 5 on the front nine, was my favorite — long, scenic, and very well designed. The fairways and greens were in top shape, and overall the course offers a nice medium level of difficulty that keeps it fun and engaging.

Pierce Lake Golf Course is easily one of the better public tracks I’ve played in Michigan. It offers a great mix of scenic views, thoughtful design, and excellent value. The course was in very good shape overall. The fairways were well-manicured, and the bunkers were well-maintained—unfortunately, I became pretty familiar with them! The greens were a bit beat up in spots, but still playable and didn't take too much away from the round. The layout is a lot of fun, with a nice variety of holes and tee boxes that challenge you without being overly punishing. I especially enjoyed the back nine—i…

Debbie the cart girl is awesome!! She’s very sweet and very inviting! She’s awesome at her job and heard she’s been here a while. PSA to the golf course, PLEASE get tablets or something to leave tips. This golf course only has card readers (90% people don’t have cash), so when we pay card there is no option to tip. People like Debbie are awesome and we should have a way to tip, PLEASE PIERCE LAKE GET TABLETS OR ALLOW QR CODES!!!

Very nice golf course. Nice layout, good challeging greens. Plenty of trouble to get into if your a little off, better hit it strait. Although most landing areas are plenty large. Nice scenery enjoyed the views of the fall colors.

this is a great golf course for a real good price!!! the course has an up north field has some woods, but it’s not that narrow of course is well-maintained. I would say immaculate I played the back 9 and I enjoyed it thoroughly great experience highly recommend.

What a fantastic course! Easily one of the best Munis I’ve ever played. Conditions were great, greens were SCARY fast, fairways rolled long and the layout was a blast. Front 9 gets you a nice warmup for a challenging back 9. Keep the driver dialed and you’ll do just fine. Cart girl was available, bathrooms were spread out and Marshall and starters were friendly!

One of the truly great municipal owned & operated golf courses in our region. Over a 15 year period, Pierce Lake has always been in top shape and the staff respects your patronage.

Played Pierce Lake about 2 weeks ago and the course was in excellent shape. Fairway’s were trimmed to perfection, the greens were freshly cut with interesting pin placement. The Clubhouse Staff were very respectable. The Green Fees were about average with other courses.
