In summary

Pine Shores Municipal Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The 9-hole layout is described as interesting and fun, with some elevation changes and small greens that provide a challenge. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play due to large groups or inexperienced players, and a few have noted issues with course management and customer service.

This place is a great place to practice and learn, however we spent an extra hour waiting for a group of 8 people that were golfing all on the same hole. Called to let them know everyone was backed up and they did nothing about it sadly. Would have given it 5 stars but that's not cool to have to wait for a group that large.

Fun course! 9 holes that plays in the bend of the Pine River. Not long, some nice elevation changes make for a challenge unless you've played it before. Gracious fairways, forgiving rough, and soft greens. A great value. You can walk twilight after 5:30 for only $5. Normal rates are only $20 with a cart. Friendly staff and a '10th Hole' bar for refreshments afterwards.

This course isn't rattle run but does have character. You can hit all your clubs there and the small greens can be challenging too hit too. But definitely worth playing. The work staff definitely are 5 star people also.

Nice Course but didn’t realize it was a playground! a mother with two kids was taking pics of every shot, took them 20 shots to get to the green, after 3 holes they let me pass but at next hole was a father with 3 boys that were running wild! Chasing each other with the cart hitting one handed shots on the green & the father said nothing! I went around them & at the next was another group of kids hanging out in fairway a hundred yards from the tee! I was frustrated and left after just 4 holes! Won’t go back!

I recently made a tee time at this golf course this past Sunday, and I brought my fiancé and my sister-in-law for their first round of golf. I thought it would be a nice course for their first round as a nine hole course in the evening. We may have taken a little longer than usual, but that was to be expected for their first round of golf, we took a break about halfway through to come back to the shop and get drinks, only to find that the shop was closed. We had to go back to our hole and continue playing without anything to drink, and at around the seventh hole, we were very rudely interrupte…

Course is in ok shape for a municipal course. This is a very short track with postage stamp size greens. Prices are pretty reasonable and you can normally get out to play without much of a wait. If you're looking for impressive you need to keep going.

For a small local course it is interesting and fun. Rolling fairways, nicely treed and maintained. Good prices. First time there and I will be back. Not too long, so good for families.

The cost is perfect. Stay on the fairway. The rough is ROUGH. It's a busy course so don't be an impatient male appendage.🍻
