In summary

Michigan Meadows Country Club in Casco, Michigan, is appreciated for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and affordable rates, making it an appealing option for local golfers and beginners. The course layout is straightforward with some challenging elements, but many visitors note that the greens, fairways, and bunkers require more consistent maintenance to improve playability. While some enjoy the relaxed pace of play, others find the course conditions and slow greens detract from the overall experience.

Course has potential new owners from several years ago. There is no sand in any bunker. They said it would be here this summer so you might want to ask. Cart was dirty. Didn’t eat, but the restaurant looks nice and looks like they do a good banquet business there. It’s very early so the course was still a little wet. Cart paths with gravel, but in good shape and a lot smoother than some of the asphalt ones I’ve had to drive on at other courses this year. Course is basically flat there is water on several holes and some narrow drives down between the trees to test your drive.

Michigan Meadows Golf Course, Casco, Michigan: 👍👍👍👍 Nestled in the quiet countryside of Casco, Michigan, Michigan Meadows Golf Course is a modest but enjoyable 18-hole public course that’s been serving the community for decades. Originally opened in the mid-20th century, it has built a loyal following of local golfers who appreciate its straightforward layout, affordable rates, and welcoming atmosphere. COURSE QUALITY While the greens are playable, the tee boxes and fairways are in noticeable need of care. Uneven surfaces, thin grass coverage, and patchy areas detract from the overall playin…

Michigan Meadows Golf Course, a true local spot in Casco, has a welcoming atmosphere with a friendly and flexible clubhouse staff. It's clear why members speak highly of the team and their dedication. However, the course itself, while brimming with potential, is in need of significant improvements to match the high standards of the staff. Currently, the playing conditions are quite rough, with overgrown bunkers now marked as hazards, shaggy greens that could use a good trim, and cart paths in disrepair. Beyond playability, the course is also plagued by an abundance of biting insects, making a…

Decent course. 45$ for a round with a cart. Greens play pretty slow. Fairways and rough need some work. Great course for a beginner to practice.

Play was super slow. Its clear they just want as many golfers as they can get out there. Why cant they put sand in the traps and fertilize lol.....its clear they cut corners everywhere they can. However, the food is always good and the carts are only a couple years old. Bring your patients!!!

Do not golf here it's terrible. Can't tell where the fairways is or the rough. Very bad shape green cracked and burnt. It was the same as it was 2yrs ago. They're charging $33 for 18 senior and I played Heather hills last week for $34. Michigan meadows should charge no more than $25.

Hidden gem for sure, well maintained and operated with care. Helpful and friendly staff and there’s even a restaurant on the course! Dion was in the office this day and he was a delight! definitely recommend this spot.

*Update*. Pace of play and lack of forgiveness on the course takes it down a notch. Clear some trees!* I think this is an under rated course. Sure it's not perfect but pace of play has always been good and the greens aren't jacked up. I've seen them fast and slow so 🤷. Bug drive me nuts, but it's a decent budget course especially compared to the other ones near me.

I played this course in an outing on a weekend. There is a practice putting green. The course has a nice layout. The greens were extremely slow, and the 9th green had some bare spots. The workers at the course are nice. The facility is clean. The golf carts do not have windshields or GPS on them. If you're out for a practice round, this course is OK. If you're playing competitively, you will not like the slow greens.

First and only time coming to this course! Staff was not only rude but hostile, course was dirty, and we paid for a full round and were forced to leave in the middle of our 15th hole because they “closed early”. No warning or refund.

Not a bad course by any means, fresh food and cold drinks. Layout is fun and challenging, tight drives and fair amount of doglegs. The greens do this course a disservice however, shaggy and super slow. Better stick it close!
