In summary

Timberwood Golf Course receives praise for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and fair pricing, with some golfers appreciating the challenging layout and country setting. However, many visitors express frustration with the slow pace of play, often attributing it to overbooking and large groups, which detracts from the overall experience. Additionally, some reviews mention that certain areas of the course, such as tee boxes and bunkers, could benefit from more attention and maintenance.

Overpriced, slow, and the fairways are all dead. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes with 2 of us riding. If there is only green grass in the shade you should not be charging $35 for 9 and $55 for 18. Definitely will not be returning.

forward tee boxes leaves something to be desired. other than that, good experience as usual. Pace of play was good, finished in just over four hrs.

Unfortunately league play has become incredibly slow, 3 hours plus for 9. 2 or 3 groups waiting on every tee box.

Course is fairly long - is usually in pretty good condition except for a few of the greens. Good size clubhouse but they only offer microwaved sandwiches. Friendly staff and low prices are primary advantage of this course.

0 stars if I could. Don't go here. They overbook so bad. Another 4 had the same exact T time. Took us 4.5 hours to get through 12 holes yesterday. We had to call it quits at that point. Pure greed by ownership.

SLOW, almost 5 hours to play on a Wednesday mid-day (10:45a), called pro shop after the first hole as there were 16 people on the short par 3 2nd, was told “it’s always slow there, it will open up, but will send somebody out”, never sent anybody out and it remained slow, stopped in at the turn and told them it took 2 1/2 hours to play front 9, pro shop guy said that was good pace, not any faster on the back even with people quitting. Drink gal was pleasant. Course is in rough shape, fairways and greens are patchy (at best), $35 for senior walking 18 holes not a great value. My buddies and I wa…

What a dive. Carts were filthy and poorly maintained as was the whole course. Yards markers are a joke. Group in front of us had 5 players! It took us over three hours to play 9 holes. We left after nine. The club house is filthy and out dated. Never going back.

Friend I grew up with lives near there. Played it last year for the first time. I live a hour and 5 minutes away one way. Took 5 hours and 15 minutes for 18. It was on a weekend but overbooked. Seemed like every 7 to 8 minutes they were letting people out. In my 40 years of playing one of the slowest rounds of my life. Course was in decent shape for the price. Tees were rough and uneven. Staff was OK. Still shot 78 for first time playing it. Did like the greens big and challenging 🙂
