In summary

Pismo Beach Golf Course is widely appreciated for its scenic location along the central California coast, offering a charming 9-hole par-3 layout that caters to both beginners and more experienced golfers. The staff is frequently praised for their friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. While the course is generally well-maintained, some visitors note that the greens could benefit from improved upkeep, and the limited food options may prompt guests to bring their own snacks.

Great golf course! It’s a 9-hole Par-3 but it plays like a 18 hole course. Greens have issues but they are not that bad. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a pro shop with all the gear, balls, tees etc. plus cold drinks and beer. Prices are a little high but still a great deal for a course with ocean breezes.

Very nice golf course wedding venue. Yes, I wasn’t there to play golf but to attend the wedding. So, I can’t talk about golfing experience there, but the tent they let us use for the reception was great! Plenty of space for all the guests. We had a outdoor wedding, which I suspect is most of the cases, and it was just perfect. The beach is quite close, and the venue let the bride and groom to use the gold carts to travel to and from the beach for the mini photo session at the beach before the ceremony. It isn’t a huge problem but their restroom in the club house is small (one person at a tim…

This is a GEM of an executive style, all par-3 golf course. It will steal your heart as it has mine since I was but a wee lad, but I am more than happy to have left it in the hands of such a deserving destination. The beautiful layout/design requires just enough skill to score well and to hold the interest of experienced players but it certainly isn't overwhelming or intimidating for the novice or even 1st time golfer, with the exception of hole number seven, which requires a 100 + yard carry over a large pond. For such a highly trafficked and well loved course, the condition is good. The only…

I'm a golf newb (i.e. I golf once or twice a year) so this course is perfect. It's cheap and low pressure. It's mostly par threes. The guy who works here is pretty sassy. Watch out for rattle snakes. We saw one nesting here a few years ago. Its easy to lose all your balls in holes seven and eight.

Awesome 9 hole course. If your coming from out of town, this course will suffice in getting your golf fix.. All Par 3's with longest hole at 190 yds. Just show up, there are no tee times. Adult walking - $14

Super fun course to learn on or for a quick 9 hole round and follow it up at Finn's restaurant and catch an epic sunset!

This is a nice par 3 course. Great weather most of the time. Friendly staff. The prices are reasonable. I just wish they didn't charge full price on the electric golf carts for a second trip around the course. I will be back in August.

Left my golf club at the course a few months ago and called to ask if they had it, they found it and said they could keep it for me until my next trip to the coast. Well I just called them to make sure they still had it and if I could come pick it up. The lady was extremely rude and not helpful. She laughed at me and said “you can come here and look for it but I don’t know what else to tell you” Hmm maybe ask me what brand and club it is for starters? It blows my mind that someone could be that rude for literally no reason. You can keep the club!!

Not sure why they offer electric golf carts other than for disabilities. There are no cart paths, so carts are driven all over, including right to the edge of greens. Course needs a lot of work: gopher/squirrel control
