Review: I was a little hesitant to play this course because of the mixed reviews, but the boys and I played it today and were pleasantly surprised. You can tell they’re working hard to make it a great course. The practice putting green isn’t the best, but it’s fine for warming up. The course itself was in really good condition. The fairways have a lot of undulation, so you rarely get a completely flat lie. The greens were sneaky fast, which made for a fun challenge. The highlight of the course was Devil’s Elbow — holes 14 through 17. They’re creative, tough, and memorable. If you can get thr…

Played with my two sons, both FSU students, while visiting Tallahassee. Loved the differences in elevation throughout the course, not something we see often in South Florida. Greens and fairways were in good shape. Overall great experience for the price

Played Summerbrooke about a week ago for the first time in a little over a year. The course is in great condition, and the tee boxes are the best that i've seen out here. My son and I love the "Devil's Elbow." Will be returning soon.

Positives: Located in a very nice neighborhood. Great layout and a very playable course with just the right amount of “challenge”! The fairways were in excellent shape and the assistant pro seemed to be a nice dude! Negatives: Range and the range balls were raggedy. Carts worked but were kinda raggedy. Some, not all, of tee boxes were raggedy. Rough was really thick with a lot of weed grass. The greens were thick and grainy and slow. Very hard to putt. Some were not in very good shape. Overall I did enjoy my round and enjoyed the course. You can tell that the status quo is met and the course i…

Barely worth the $40. Bare fairways, unmowed tee boxes and rough greens make this place one I’ll avoid every time I’m in town. Additionally, if you’re unfamiliar we the layout you will get lost traversing from green to the next tee. I had to stop fellow golfers two times to find the next tee. “Devils Bend” was an interesting 3 hole run, but it was too little too late and wasn’t enough to save the day and the rating.

I had a wonderful time at Summerbrooke golfing! The staff was very attentive and helpful, the course looked and played great, and I had a great round. I am looking forward to going back there in the future!

We had the pleasure of enjoying a family brunch. FE-Nomenal and Cheesecakes by Sylvia had truly outdone themselves. Great dishes for the whole family and amazing desserts too. The chef came to check in with everyone make sure the experience was truly FE-Nomenal. We will definitely be back!

Gabe at Summerbrooke is great with the members and others golfers who are coming to play. He is fantastic with the young golfers who play here and extremely encouraging. He runs this course with the upmost professionalism and dedication to the sport. I highly recommend Summerbrooke to be your course, as it it a true family atmosphere.

All staffs work hard to improve the golf course condition. Although there are much sands on greens and fairways, condition of the course is better than last summer. I love playing this course.

I really had my hopes up for a great experience at this club. My first time playing here and I had heard it was really improving. Maybe so but I don't have a previous experience to compare. Positives: the fairways are in good shape; the check in was simple, quick, and friendly; the layout is great; it has a lot of potential. Most but not all of the greens were great. Negatives: several of the greens have serious issues; several of the tee boxes were very thin and a couple were almost all dirt (gold tees); water coolers weren't refreshed and one I tried to use on the back nine had a broken valv…

SummerBrooke is absolutely one of the most beautiful courses in town. Extremely well kept. They’ve got a great clubhouse with food as well. My favorite thing is their “night golf” events! They do an excellent job making golf accessible to people of all abilities.

I’ve never made a review in my life until now. Better off putting in the rough of oakmont. The tee box might as well be called a sandbox. Some greens have so much sand I’d call it a bunker. Break it off in ya to play the worst course in Tallahassee. I could weedeat better than they mow. Our pace of play was slow shooting +9 on hole 14. Yea we try to play with 6 guys. The group behind us had 5 guys. 400 yard par 4 and were on putting green. They don’t have to wait, they can drive and not make it to the green. I mean who the hell is playing behind me? Bryson Dechambeau? Best thing they can do is…
