In summary

Pleasant Valley Country Club receives praise for its excellent course conditions, with well-maintained greens and fairways, and the recent addition of golf simulators. However, many visitors express dissatisfaction with the high green fees, outdated clubhouse, and poor cart path conditions. Additionally, some golfers report issues with slow pace of play and customer service.

This is the most confusing golf course I’ve ever played. The course itself is nice with some of the purest greens I’ve played in Ohio. Nice fairways and decent tee boxes. That is where the fun stops. This is not a $75 round of golf. The day starts in the pro shop that has not seen an upgrade since the 70’s. The gentleman in the pro shop didn’t seem to want to be there and certainly didn’t care that we were. The bathrooms would make a fantastic haunted house. And the hot dogs are prepared in a small pot of boiling water. The cart paths are either pristine stamped concrete (2 holes) or resembli…

3.8 overall rating is way out of date. I just played this track and it is one of the hidden gems in northeast Ohio. Course is in excellent condition, the greens / tee boxes are lush, and the fairways are firm but soft. I’ve played courses in the area that are charging $20 more for worse conditions. The green keepers are definitely earning their money…

$75 dollars is OUTRAGEOUS this is a public course! tee boxes are dry same with fairways, course doesn’t retain water well at any point in the season greens are nice, easy to hit no driving range and the clubhouse is old and outdated cart paths are atrocious carts do have GPS nice upgrade but that doesn’t make it worth $75. in my opinion If you want a $75 dollar golf experience go a few more minutes down the road to good ol’ Shale Creek for the same price it’s 10x better

Shocked with the $75.85 for what the course was. First time here with two tee times. Course was in /fair/good condition. Paths were awful in most areas. No score cards because they are reprinting them?!?! The male cashier was also working the snack counter. That will also be our last time. Drive by this place and go to Shale Creek

Great golf course love playing here throughout the season always in great shape. I’m even more thrilled with the addition on the new golf simulators. I can truly play any time of the year.

I’m in Florida and I came up last week for a mini vacation. I was born and raised in Ohio played a lot of golf courses around. They weren’t that good so we decided to play Pleasant Valley Medina went on the reviews and found a bunch of reviews talking about cartpath how bad they are and I can’t ride with three people on a card and they wouldn’t let us. I’ll never come back again Even the clubhouse is old. I played this course back in 1987. It was beautiful so I was skeptical and was gonna change the teatime when I got there. The people inside the clubhouse are very pleasant jokingly happy it w…

The man at the cash register on a Thursday at 9am was very rude and should be fired. Because I said they should have a cart boy get carts he said if you don't like it go somewhere else. I will. Also on the high side for green fees and the cart paths are terrible.

Played 18 there course was in overall good shape. Cart paths were very rough for the price you pay to play. Very dated clubhouse.

I paid $148 dollars for two golfers for this! The cart paths were some of the worst I’ve ever seen. You’re not allowed to take the cart to get your stuff in the parking lot. Par fours were extremely long but forgiving. A few of the tee boxes were located right next to the last green. This caused others behind us to shoot almost into us waiting to tee off. The clubhouse was lacking and outdated. This course had a lot of potential but to be charging that price for that course is mind blowing.

New golf simulators are amazing. The most accurate simulators I have ever used. Highly recommend trying them out during the winter!

Two stars because rhe people working there were nice. The cart paths are almost unusable and the pace of play was remarkably slow. For $60 there are dozens of better options in the area.

The course was in good shape. However the employees that rushed us to finish so they can go home made it a sub par experience. We were the last group off with no one in front or behind us. There was still two hours of daylight when we left. We won’t be going back due to our experience!
