I had an absolute blast playing at Plymouth Country Club this past weekend. I am a golf architecture enthusiast with 130+ courses played in NC. I sought out Plymouth CC as it is a William Flynn design, and it did not disappoint. The greens were in fantastic shape, and the course layout was a great challenge. The two gentlemen who greeted me in the pro-shop could not have been more welcoming, as were the members I met after the round. For $10 to walk 9, and $15 to play all day, PCC is an absolute steal. Eastern NC 9 hole golf courses are a step back in time both nostalgic but also a bit sad and PCC is no different. The course clubhouse is very old and run down. I assume they don't have the funds to properly maintain or refurbish. The best things about PCC is the William Flynn design, the best 9 hole design in the area, and the price, very affordable to walk 9 holes. However, the condition of the PCC was very poor. Many of the fairways had long un mowed grass. The greens were by far the most disappointing aspect of the course. They said they had aerated a few weeks ago and it was still evide…

The view of golf course is beautiful, I live across from golf courses, I've seen a lot of deer, and just above tree line, the sunrises& sunsets are beautiful, plus when it snowed, it's was just so nice, I'm original from North East, so I love winter scenery 👌👍 also seeing men&women tee off, is something to see!😎😄
