In summary

Poquoy Brook Golf Course receives mixed reviews from visitors. Many appreciate the challenging layout and friendly staff, along with the enjoyable dining experience at the clubhouse. However, there are significant concerns about course maintenance, with several noting poor conditions of the greens, fairways, and bunkers, as well as issues with slow pace of play and overcrowding.

Place is in terrible shape. Looks like it hasn't been touched since winter. Grass growing in the bunkers and they're filled with branches, leaves and pine cones. Tees are aweful, fairways look like a cow pasture. One green was covered with a brown liquid and another we couldn't play because it was under water from a sprinkler system they seemed unable to shut off. Trash containers were filled from the prior day(s). Really disappointing. I typically play 5 to 10 times a year here but won't be back until they make serious impovements.

Used to be a good course, but the conditions are awful now. Poor teeboxes, terrible fairways, multiple areas that are mudholes despite there being little to no rain recently. They also STACK the course like a can of sardines. We were backed up all day, took almost 2:45 to play the front nine and we were waiting on the teebox and fairways all day. I finally called it after 16 holes and almost 5 hours, first time ever I wasn’t able to finish a round because of how stacked the course was. I will not play here again.

Greens were great. Programmed golf carts kind of pain when you go out of area. Could use more signs to next tee.

A little rough around the edges but a great value for the price. Seems like they were in the middle of some repairs on their sprinkler system so I won’t blame them for that. A few of the tee boxes have seen better days but that could be said about most courses this time of year. Had a great time on the course, staff was very friendly, and the clubhouse bar was cool. Biggest gripe was the GPS cart stopping us on every hole for being in (seemingly random) restricted areas. Especially frustrating when a lot of holes didn’t have cart paths so it wasn’t clear what areas were off-limits. Just a mino…

A pretty good course with a great variety of holes. The driving range is really great with clear signage out in the range to really get your distances down, whether practicing or warming up. The pricing for a bucket of balls is also very good. Although the top tracer part of the range is hit or miss whether it'll work or not, which isnt a big deal but may frustrate some who like to use top tracer. The pub has great food, is well kept up and have great bartenders and is very reasonably priced. The last time I played a round there the greens were a little rough/slow but overall in decent shape.…

Was at Poquoy Brook Pub tonight for dinner with some friends food was good as always but the bartender Harry was horrible. No manners totally like you were bothering him you asked for anything. Will not sit there if I see him as a bartender again will just come back another time.

Well maintained and challenging course for the average golfer. Never crowded and the clubhouse has great dining after a round. The driving range is great also!

For the first week in March unbelievable grounds, just wish the yardage markers were a little easier to find. The greens rolled very fair. Can't wait to return.

I have been playing golf at PB for over 45 years. I no longer live in Lakeville. I was a seasons passholderfor 20 years and a member of the inner club for 45 years. August 2025 I was invited to play in the Thursday night league. I played in that league for 44 Continuous years. I was utterly amazed at the lack of maintenance to the Golf Course. And perplexed how conditions have deteriorated. PB Is definitely the worst conditioned Golf Course I have played in at least 10 years. While many longtime golfers occasionally complain about the speed of the greens. I have nothing positive to say about t…

Helene at the pro shop was welcoming. Melinda was awesome at the bar. Super nice patrons, and the cheese steak was to die for.

After 9 holes of late season golf, decided to check out the newly renovated restaurant for lunch. Draft beer was ice cold. Grilled chicken salad sandwich with candied bacon was amazing. Will be back.! Back again! Can't beat the burgers here. Food is unbelievable!!
