In summary

Pine Oaks Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained conditions, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with a standout pro shop that many find impressive. However, the lack of tee times often leads to slow pace of play and overcrowding, which some visitors find frustrating. Despite these issues, the course remains a popular choice for its affordability and welcoming atmosphere.

Coming back for the first time in over a year, completely forgot how sneaky good this 9 hole course is. It’s much longer than I remember from the tip - yellow pin. There was a 245y par 3. Some dog legs, and downhill fairways. Can eat you alive if you don’t play strategically. Mid spring early May, the conditions on the fairway and specially the greens are top notch. The staff are very nice, big pro shop. I will come back more often for sure.

One of my favorite places to golf, and it has one of the best pro shops you’ll ever see. The ground can get a little moist but it’s well-maintained.

This is the 1st course I ever played, and it is my go to. A fun 9 holes and a great course for beginners such as myself. There are no tee times so you may have to wait a bit and follow the pace of play of the group in front of you. The guys in the ProShop are great. Got my Driver and 3 Wood re-gripped there and they were done within 10 minutes or so. Definitely will continue to visit Pine Oaks to get my game up.

Honestly a solid course. Pro shop is great too. No tee times though is such a gamble. Tried to go out late on a Sunday night around 5:45. Was told it’s a 40 minute wait and might not get all 9 holes in. We tried anyways. What a mistake. Way too many people out there. Legit waiting 15-20 min every hole. We played 3 holes and it took 1 hr and 20 min. Even had a group of 2 behind us waiting too. (Even though we were told we were last group of the night) If you’re feeling lucky I’d say go here for price, and overall value of course. Otherwise, stay away, and find a good twilight rate elsewhere.

To be honest, the course was in good shape. However, the Cart Marshall had an abrupt confrontation with my buddy and I. It wasn’t pleasant. He said the elderly group behind us complained that we were “slow” and pointed at us. This is embarrassing because we were patiently waiting 25 minutes to tee off with a group of 4 walkers (teenage thugs) and 2 immature men with a cart. I emphasis that we were patient, and it felt like we were being rushed with our round. Why confront us when we weren’t the problem? 4 star course, but 2 star hospitality.

I am from out of town and here for a hockey tournament. My son and I went golfing here - beautiful course - very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I recently bought a new set of clubs here and it was a great experience with a super fast turnaround for some of the customization I required (shaft length & jumbo grips). I then tried out the course and was very happy with many aspects: 1. considering price, it is exceptionally maintained. 2. For a 9hole course, the convenience of first come first serve is outstanding for someone who isn't always able to plan out in advance a golf day/evening. 3. The staff and other players were all very courteous (this is not a stuffy environment). 4. The wide variety of tee boxes provides appropriate diffic…

Nice little spot to get 9 holes in. No tee times needed which can back things up on weekends and holidays. Besides that it's a nice walk. Great PGA Jr. Camp program as well. Very pleased w Coach Garrett and the gang. Kiddo loved em.

Great course, the best pro shop around.

Affordable course and fun to play at times, but when it comes to spacing out tee times and allowing more than four players to a group it really makes it less enjoyable. This will not be my go to course until this problem is resolved and the cart workers at the opening hole actually make rounds to check on the status of certain holes. Unprofessional.

GREAT STAFF! These guys are friendly and knowledgeable. The pro shop here is one of the best around. The course is average for a 9 hole course, made slightly more challenging by well place water hazards and heavy tree lining (which also makes it cooler to play in the summer). The condition of the course is usually pretty good, but can be tough following heavy rains. My one suggestion to management is to improve the course markings (signs and posts at the Tees with distances, etc.) and to put back the ladies tees on the 8th hole (drives my wife nuts).

Love playing here because it’s a nice public course for amateurs and all. However the past month has been horrendous when it comes to times and getting jammed up. I get it you’ve been doing no reserved tee times for ever but at least space out the times more. Currently on hole 2, been here for more than 10 mins, saw a group of 5 and 6 together. Doubles not being paired together. I read responses to other reviews and I can understand to a point. But SPACE OUT TEE TIMES. Better to have more organization and have repeat customers than losing people from frustration from refusal to change things u…
