Attended an event last night. The staff was one of the most unprofessional and unskilled Ive ever seen. During the keynote speaker's address, all that could be heard was the clinking and clacking of pans, and plate covers, and wait staff speaking in elevated tones. It was so disruptive, the speaker kept looking in their direction hoping to take a hint; they didnt. Someone from the audience had to walk over and tell them to please stop. How embarrassing. Good time. Clean space and helpful staff.

I called on behalf of my sister to get some information and was shocked by how unprofessionally I was treated. A man named Mike answered the phone and rudely said, “Why do you keep calling here, Janet?”—even though it was my first time calling. His tone was snappy and dismissive, and he told me to stop calling without hearing me out. As someone with family involved in this organization, I’m disappointed and reconsidering future involvement. No business should tolerate this kind of behavior from staff.

I attended a 80th Birthday Party at this venue and tried to present a beautiful "80 Years in the Making" video. 2 weeks earlier, I met with Rich (general manager) to make sure my laptop connected with Thorny Lea's projector. Meaning: Projector on floor, leaning lopsided against a wall - power on, we see the video on the wall. Okay, it works - power off. Rich was quick. I asked to see the projector screen and how it would be set up, etc. Rich easily dismissed me stating that it would depend on how the room would be set up, blah, blah, blah. Beautiful private course. On the short side and only two par 5's. Some challenging greens are it's defense. Play it if you have teh chance

Amazing course layout and unbeatable conditions. Members and staff can be difficult to deal with at times. You could be overly chastised for moving too slowly, not replacing divots, and not fixing ball marks. Still a great place to play but beware the air of superiority/arrogance that lingers here.

My husband and I attended a birthday party the e event hall is beautiful.

I went to Thorny Lea for my 40th reunion for Brockton High School 🚸. Had a great time.

Very nice course and clubhouse. We played in a downpour and it still played great. Would be a 5 star experience with a course map and/or better on course direction.

Great course and fantastic greens. If you keep it in play you can put up a nice number. Very nice course and great practice facility

The space is beautiful and staff were so friendly. The food was okay. Plenty of parking

I have not played the course nor have I seen the full course but the pro shop is very nice the restaurant looks beautiful the staff there was quite pleasant
