In summary

Prouts Neck Country Club is praised for its beautifully maintained golf course, stunning ocean views, and overall setting, which many find to be exceptional. The course is private, requiring membership or special access, and some guests have noted that the amenities do not match the premium pricing, with issues such as outdated equipment and a lack of signage. While the staff is generally viewed positively, there are occasional comments about unwelcoming behavior.

This is a private golf club that you need a membership to join. You also have to be voted in by the current members. it is located in Prouts Neck, Scarborough, Maine between the Nonesuch river and the Atlantic Ocean. Within walking distance is the Black Point Inn a five star hotel with full service as well as a tennis club in a yacht club.

(It's a walking course, motorized carts for seniors only.) Left here feeling fleeced---have never felt that way leaving any…

This course is to die for. Expertly maintained and crafted. Best pro shop experience, clothing items, Gifts of any I have visited. Cool ocean breezes keep you comfortable . Play this course before you leave Maine.

Beautiful course, staff could not be more unwelcoming, or unhelpful to the point of indifferent arrogance
