Golf connoisseur US rating 7.5 Maine rating 9.0. Greens were superb, fairways irrigated, golf carts newer with plenty of pep, pace of play = 36 holes in 5.5 hours on a gorgeous 80 degree early September day. The staff was amazing. Overall the course was spectacular. I have played 7 courses in Maine so far this is my favorite, the only other ask would be GPS on board. Wonderful members and fellow golfers there as well. You won't be disappointed.

Good course. Fairways and tee box have many divots but greens were in great condition. Only downside is the shooting range and highway right by the course. Range was very busy but they had two practice greens.

For the $82 cost, on top of the $20-$40 fee for a rental bag of clubs, this has got to be the single worst course I’ve ever played at for the cost to play and poor quality course. I would highly advise any golfer to stay away from here if they have to pay more than $20-$25 including the $22 cart rental fee. Extremely disappointed with this course this weekend as it was my first time in the Portland area. Choose any other course…literally any other course over this one if you’re just stopping through Portland…or even live there. Bugs, primarily mosquitoes, were actually worse than they are down…

Driving range often crowded on weekends. Gets beaten up bad by the end of the season. Decent price of $5 for bucket of balls. Bring own tees.

Beautiful course. Golf cart paths were my favorite part actually. It’s a bit wet but everywhere is this year.

$85 for a cart and 18 is wild for the way this course was. Tee boxes filled with divots, fairways filled with divots, greens covered in seed fill. Just overall not great condition. Not sure if it's better in season, but the money clearly isn't going into course maintenance. Not to mention the only lunch item was a hot dog.

First time golfing at Nonesuch. Beautiful coarse, lots of fun and was in great condition even this late in the season. Definitely recommend.

Best 18 Holes of Golf In Maine. Driving Range & Putting Greens to get you warmed up & a diverse range of holes which will keep golfers on their toes with the front 9 being mostly forgiving if your a beginner, & the back 9 being slightly more of a challenge (in my opinion). The Par Layout is Well balanced all the way through. I would say Nonesuch is also extremely well maintained. Overall great job to the grounds crew (Especially Mike & Jimmy) in terms of the hole par layout than other neighboring courses. A+ ⛳

Little rough around the edges, but as far as public 18-hole courses go, this one isn't far off the mark. They're in need of a few thousand yards of material around the course. Bunkers are rocky and could really use a few inches of sand in each, fairways have some scrappy parts here and there and there are a few low areas that could use some clearing and filling. Overall condition of the course was great. Even the day after a fair amount of rain, fairways were soft and springy and there were only a few swampy spots. I think the driver came out on 4 holes the entire round. Many holes, includi…
