In summary

Pruneridge Golf Course in Santa Clara is frequently praised for its well-maintained 9-hole layout, which offers a mix of par 3 and par 4 holes, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers. The driving range, with its two-tier setup and accommodating hours, is a highlight, along with the friendly and helpful staff, and the relaxed atmosphere. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional service delays at the repair shop.

It's a great place to play a quick 9-hole round in the city. It's larger than other 9-hole courses in the area, and best of all, it requires three driver shots, which is a nice bonus. If you plan your time wisely, the price is reasonable, and the difficulty level is reasonable. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys 9-hole courses.

Pretty good spot for a walking 9 hole. Everytime I have played it has been about 2.5 hours since we were waiting for the group in front. Not too difficult. Prices are very reasonable. Driving range is good as well and can accommodate drivers on the bottom floor. Good selections of beers.

A Hidden Gem for Locals – Great Vibes, Cold Beer, and Affordable Buckets As a local trying to level up my golf game (and just my lifestyle in general), I gotta give Pruneridge Golf Club its well-deserved props. I recently pulled up to the driving range with a buddy, and even though we forgot our clubs at home (rookie move, I know), the staff had us covered. They had some clubs available for us to use free of charge, which was a huge relief and honestly just speaks to the chill, helpful vibe of the place. The range itself is super clean and laid-back. Buckets were reasonably priced, and they…

Many people come here for the range, but I find the short 9 hole here is rather elegant. Course design is simple, but the route is a very enjoyable 2 hour walk, especially on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Only thing to beware of is that tee box of Hole 7 is facing west, means you need to swing against the 🌇 sunset, make sure your swing will not be interrupted by it.

It’s our home course. We live just down the street from it. I’m a total beginner but my Son and Husband have played for years yet it’s a great course for all of us. Great driving range and practice putting green. The pro shop is extremely helpful and they do have lessons. Matt Novach was recommended as an instructor. There’s a nice patio area with a fire pit to sit around and have a drink afterwards. There’s also a restaurant and a food truck but I’m not sure the hours of the food truck is available? But the food was good. Pruneridge has always been our go to place when we want to go golfing.

Great experience for a 9 hole course. The price for a round relatively inexpensive. The push cart rental is $5. Staff is informative and kind to provide a nice experience. Definitely coming back to play more rounds in the future!

I've been golfing here for 25 years and it continues to improve all the time. Great 9-hole layout that's approachable but still brings the challenge with a good amount of hazards. Awesome drinks, great food, awesome staff, knowledgeable pros, good selection of golf gear, family centered. The driving range shows it's age, but I'll call it vintage and it's well appointed with lots of targets. It's not the biggest facility so peak hours mean you could be waiting a while.

A good, ideal range to get some practice. The bucket is a little bit more expensive than my usual range, but not a huge problem. Would love to come back to try the 9-hole course!

Amazing place to play a nine hole/ driving range. Very polite and knowledgeable staff, makes me feel at home. Has a great bar/ dining area. There is a well stocked pro shop and a professional repair technician on site.

We hosted a corporate golf tournament at Pruneridge Golf Club with about 50 golfers and 100 total attendees. The course was in great condition, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Cindy was helpful throughout the planning process and made coordinating the details straightforward. Overall, the event was a big success, and Pruneridge was a great venue for our group. We’re already working on coordinating our next event here!

I've really enjoyed playing at Pruneridge Golf Course in Santa Clara. It's a concise 9-hole course that's perfect for a quick game, taking just a couple of hours with four players. The layout includes a few longer holes which add a nice challenge. One of my favorite parts is the driving range—especially the lower level where you can really make the most of your driver. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable, making it a great value for both beginners and experienced golfers alike. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and efficient golfing experience!

The Pruneridge Golf Club in Santa Clara is a popular golf course located in the heart of Santa Clara. It offers a semi-challenging 9-hole course and various amenities for golfers. They have couple of par 4's, mostly are par 3's. Makes it rightfully challenging for amateur golfers. They have 19th hole bar, very nice! They have finger food and burgers. They have two level driving range and good parking. They also offer group or private coaching.
