Been wanting to play here for a very long time! Finally made the hour away trip on 5-16 at noon as a twosome. Definitely was a let down. Customer service underwhelming, especially at a resort course. The practice area was average (could only hit off mats). Don’t you dare go in any bunker anywhere on the course as it’s nothing but hard pan, rock, and footprints. The rough/fairways were manageable and the greens were terrible. Nobody fixes divots! To top it off it was a 5 1/2 round, spending 20 minutes just WAITING on every tee box. They did have a ranger too. The scenic views and course layout…

Have played this course numerous times. And there's a reason we continue to go back. Lots of elevation changes. Scenic views. Super fun par 3's with dramatic drops. The holes are spread out and course is super quiet. Highly recommended. We go here where we have company in town..

Staff inside and out are friendly and helpful. There is a ranger on the course who actually is visible and does his job appropriately! Course is always fun and challenging!

Super friendly people…..The concourse bartender was super awesome and knowledgeable. The course layout was sooo fun and the views were so incredible. It was a mix between dessert and mountain golf. Definitely top 3 best courses that I’ve ever played. I can’t speak highly enough about this track! I played 4 courses while in Arizona. Here are my rankings: 1. Rancho Manana 2. Lookout Mountain 3. The Phoenician 4. TPC Championship Course

My favorite course in the Valley. Staff is awesome, rangers are friendly, everyone comes out here to just have a good time. Views are great. It's a shorter course even from the back tees, but the target-golf aspect makes up for it. Have fun, drink some beers, and bring a couple extra sleeves of balls.

The course was fantastic. Butch the marshal needs to relax and realize that he’s just a marshal. No need to hassle people that flew cross country to play at his course. Cart girl was fantastic. Do not tell people over the phone they can play 8 man scramble then threaten to kick them off a hole for doing so.

An awesome round of golf! First time playing here and was impressed. The front 9 layout is spectacular as you ascend, play along the side, and then descend down a mountain. Beautiful holes and views throughout the whole course! The starter advised us it's "target golf" here. It's 100% true. Very narrow fairways and little room around the small greens. Bring extra balls or be dialed in! The scorecards have a hint sheet on it with tips for each hole, which was super helpful as first timers here. Overall, the layout and staff were excellent. Cart girl came plenty of times, too. The course was o…

If you like slow golf this is the course for you! Played 18 holes yesterday and it took 3 hours to get through the front nine. At times there were 3 foursomes waiting at the par 3's. Either they can't manage a tee card or the marshals are totally useless. Probably both.

Pro shop was excellent. Greens, not so much. I would say they should cut and bale them, but there are too many rocks and holes. Played here 3 years ago, couldn't finish 16 because of darkness. 5 groups on 16. Today after 4.75hrs, got to finish 16 as the sun went down and everybody backed up. One marshall sitting and charting play on 9, doing nothing to speed play. Groups behind us gave the pro shop a piece of their mind. I'll never play this course again. Buyer beware, if you start after 12, you might not get your money's worth. Start at 1, you better get a prorated green fee for 15 holes

First time playing here. Love the course. Fun and challenging with great views of the surrounding hills. Better hit the ball fairly straight but it is a fair layout. We’ll definitely play it again when we visit the area next year.

Incredible quiet location. Room was top notch. Bit of a drive from Phoenix, though right in the cute community if Carefree with tons of restaurants and shops close by. Would highly recommend!
