In summary

Rapid City Elks Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and engaging course layout, which presents a good challenge for golfers. The venue offers a variety of amenities, including a restaurant with a good selection of food and drinks, and hosts community events. However, some visitors have reported issues with rude staff, slow pace of play due to overbooking, and the course's condition needing improvement.

2 virtual course/driving ranges inside by the bar. Bar has good selection of on tap beer, domestic bottles, and can make most mixed drinks. Bartenders are friendly and fast and always attentive. Restaurant on site as well with good appetizers and meals for everyone. Don't have to be a member to access any of these things but there are perks and discounts if you are. The prices without membership are not inflated and are reasonable.

My god the staff was so rude to my party. We had the worst prime rib anyone could ever had then complained about it and this server had the nerve to argue with us. She was rude and very condescending. Ill never visit this establishment again. It wasn't the food that bothered us it was that rude server. I didn't get her name but she told us that her husband was a chef and instructed them on the meal.

Might be the most anti consumer place in the hills. Between the board members and the so called pro named Aaron it almost seems like they would not like you to play at their golf course. I have a membership there and used to play around once or twice a week with friends and each time I’ve gone the pro shop workers, board members and the omniscient Aaron have never treated me as such. It seems like everyone who isn’t employed there or a board member are treated like trash. Would highly avoid this course and go anywhere else if you’re just looking to play golf since Aaron and his army of 90 year…

Very clean and friendly but watch out for the small stickers..like needles they get in your shoes & in your carpet then in your bare feet..ouch. Have a rug & take your shoes off outside.

It was decent for fall golf. A handful of the greens were covered and the remaining ones were covered in sand. Carts could use a serious upgrade, however. Price is reasonable

We came to Rapid City for vacation. We are Elks members so we decided to stop in. We love the place. Everyone was friendly. We actually came back for a second visit. It's open to the public... so stop in.

Seems like an o-k course. They wildly overbook. 2 groups waiting at almost every hole is too much. No chance in getting any sort of a refund, i would have took a 6-pack of beer.. Value is not only about price.

Played last week for the first time. A friend and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to get a round in. While this is not a high end country club quality it was an awesome, challenging course. Don't let the short distance fool you as most holes presented a good challenge. Some more signs showing location of your next hole would be nice for newbies, especially to find #11. I will be back in rapid city several times next year and will definitely play again.
