What People Say

In summary

Ridgewood Golf Club is appreciated for its reasonable pricing, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both seasoned players and beginners. The course offers a scenic layout with some challenging features, although a few fairways are noted to be patchy. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, customer service issues, and the need for better management of course logistics.

Be cautious driving down chestua road beside this course. I had a golf ball hit my headlight and bust it out completely. The woman at the desk claimed they had no liability. No nets to keep balls from going into the road or anything. Very shady business practices if you ask me. As a business owner myself, I would do anything to make something like this right. Now I'm out $250 for a set of headlights and I'm very lucky that it wasn't my 2021 expedition. $1200 for a set of those. Very upsetting that people don't give a crap about others and their property...

Since u have played since I was a young boy, it excuted me for one of my children to want to play. This is a great place to learn as it isnt too busy and they have a nice pracruce area. This pic was right before his first ever tee shot on the course.

The course is in great shape. A few fairways were patchy in some places, but no big deal. Overall, the turf throughout the course is lush and dense. There are also a good number of large trees and some naturalized/meadow areas that make the course more scenic and attractive to wildlife. The price is great too! I paid $14 to walk 18 holes. I definitely plan on returning in the future.

We just started playing here 3 weeks ago after moving to Englewood last year. This is a great course. The greens are in incredible shape. Better than that is the owners. So helpful, not pretentious, grateful for customers, and treated my son respectfully who will be using this course to improve his game for his school team. The older guy who seems to be kind of new running the register is pretty grumpy but other than that good people. Looking forward to many years playing here.

I love this place and play it several times a year. It is a little country golf course and as such, some of the fairways feel a little like a pasture, but they are wide open and forgiving. But the greens are generally in excellent shape, leading me to believe that's where the club puts a great deal of their resources. Friendly place to get in a round!

Place is nice for a public track. Don’t get me wrong. I use to enjoy it when I first became a member. They are in DESPERATE need for a ranger. Usually not a big fan of a ranger but this place needs one. I’m all for growing the game and new people getting into golf but when you let a group of 6 tee off and one out of six hit the fairway or even make it past the ladies tees and they refuse to let the 3 groups of 2 play through there’s a problem. You would think for a golf course that is going up another 400 dollars in membership rates could afford to hire a ranger to keep the pace of play relati…

Not a great but not a bad place for a fairly cheap round of golf. I like it for the fact that it's not a very hard course but it could use some improvement. Kind of funny in that they have been painting the greens a dark green so they stand out. The tee boxes and fairways are kind of rough but serviceable. I guess for the price, what's a person to expect...

Reasonable prices and friendly staff. They cut down all the blackberry briers so you can actually find your ball now. The course is a little challenging for beginners but that's ok!

I usually start with descriptions of the course or the amenities. However, I did not make it past the check-in. Upon my arrival I was immediately accosted by a female member of management. I had the rudest encounter with "customer service" EVER! She wasn't just off putting or unfriendly. When I arrived she was blatantly rude and continued to be until I left. The only recommendation I would give about this place is to get new management.

The Greens are the Best Greens in all of Tennessee, some fairways are extremely challenging and lack some grass
