This is a beautiful golf course! I loved playing here, with all the topography changes, trees, water hazards also add to the challenge. There are also some beautiful homes driving in through the community to the clubhouse and you'll get to see quite a few on the course as well. From the staff in the pro shop to the staff in the restaurant, there couldn't have been nicer people to interact with. Thank you for the great experience, I will be back!

Greens are rolling nicely, but they are very firm right now. The fairways are in good shape, and the tee boxes are OK. This is a well-kept course that seems to be getting even better. Nice driving range and putting green and nice carts. The layout is nice but a bit more on the difficult side. Before coming here in and reading some reviews, i noticed several people mentioning the terrible cart paths. Well they are updated and paved now lol. The fair ways were good. Greens were not the best. Hard to get a good read on them. Guys are the pro shop were really nice...ladies at the restaurant not so much. Hole 1 you better be quick. Range balls will be flying at you if you hit it left.

Some of the most fun I’ve had in a while on the golf course! Greens were in fantastic shape and the food at the turn was tasty and quick. Can’t wait to be back. Maybe tomorrow!

What a beautiful golf course! The fall colors were amazing! Lots of water and tight fairways make for a challenging round, but the scenery makes it all worth it. The clubhouse is spacious with a full bar and good food too. And with a convenient location in the heart of Duncan, I’ll definitely play here again.

Paid for 18 holes online…had the receipt, confirmation, and the naïve optimism that this course would actually deliver what it advertised. Showed up at 5:30 for our tee time, only to be told by the ranger that we “only paid for 9.” Interesting twist, considering the receipt clearly said otherwise. So we paid $36 each for 9 holes, apparently luxury pricing for the privilege of being gaslit. Then came the kicker: carts had to be back by 7:30… despite the sun not setting until well after 9:00. Not sure if they’re enforcing daylight curfew or just hate fun. Oh, and the course? Three greens looke…

River Falls Plantation is a great layout with some tricky holes. You might have to play it a couple of times to learn where to hit the ball. The cart path was under construction the day I played. Hopefully, that will be completed soon. The course is in good shape and is a great value.

Solid course overall. Most greens are in great/fantastic shape. Some really cool views and different looks keep you wondering what the next hole will bring. There are some challenging holes, so be prepared to hit some accurate shots in order to score well. Really enjoyed the round out here and will stop by again during my travels.

I was charged 40.00 for 9 holes what a rip off. I was only supposed to be charged for 9 holes not 18. Was not offered a receipt where I would have found the error. The person behind the counter needs to be reprimanded or fired. I expect a call from the manager tomorrow to rectify the issue.

Played 18 holes with some friends, we all enjoyed it. Loved the smooth rolling semi quick greens. The layout of the course was a good test of skills. Surrounded by big homes it had a lot of out of bounds on many holes both left and right. Some holes you better leave your driver in the bag on the tee box. If you missed the fairway by 10-20 yards, the secondary rough guarding these homes was a bit too high (knee high) as I lost 3 balls, all in this rough. I wasn't alone in this adventure, we spent too much time looking for them. Next time, should be a better round having seen the holes and know…

Well, buckle up, because I'm about to take you on a par-fect journey through the fairways of River Falls Plantation, where the greens are as smooth as my dad jokes are cheesy. **River Falls Plantation**, the gem of Duncan, SC, is not just a golf course; it's a slice of heaven with a side of "fore". This 18-hole masterpiece, designed by the legendary Gary Player, is a testament to the beauty of South Carolina and the great game of golf². From the moment you tee off, you're greeted with lush Bermuda fairways that are more manicured than my lawn on a Saturday morning. And let me tell you, the D…

Great people! Beautiful Clubhouse. Doug was Very friendly and Travis was awesome, definitely a chill guy and helped with the tee time. Jamie and Erin in the Tavern 290 were friendly and quick on the drinks. Great conversationalists. Good price for a 6 pack of beer! Now I will say, beautiful course, narrow, challenging, and fun. The greens on the front need a little TLC and I think the tee boxes on the back need help, one tee box was completely mud. But again, Beautiful course. You can't please everyone and there will always be people griping. I UNDERSTAND why it is a NO WALKING course, from G…
