Thornblade Club

This custom door installation at Thornblade in South Carolina was one of many projects during my finish carpentry career. I loaded up my tools and drove from Georgia to complete the installation. After seeing the quality of the work, I was asked to return for additional finish carpentry projects. Looking back, it’s a reminder that craftsmanship, attention to detail, and reliability can open more doors than you ever expect.

I attended a wedding reception at the club. They served a delicious meal buffet style. The bar served a signature cocktail that was a favorite of the bride and groom, and another one. They had ample staff to serve the two bars where we got wine and beer. about 225 people attended this reception and I would say it was at its max capacity. We had a lovely view of the golf course and surrounding area from the porch. The menu was varied, and ample. Everyone had a lovely time.

We were dessert caterers for a wedding. I can not say enough about the staff! Working alongside Kaylan and Katelyn (forgive me if I messed up the names) was truly a professional team. The staff, the day of the event, was not only fun and accommodating, they also were professional and made the event run smoothly! It was a pleasure to work with them! Teamwork, without a doubt, made this bride's dream work!

Beautiful course in great shape for the BMW Charity Pro-Am. Enjoyed watching the pros as well as the amateurs and a few celebreties. Gorgeous clubhouse with all the amenities.

Pro-Am at the Par-Tee deck is always a blast. $1 mic ultras for 10 minutes if a player his a birdie.

More more more. The only thing that disappointed was the quality of the brunch we had. It was really good, as was the service, but for the price I expect better. Golf course beautiful and seemed challenging; no I didn't play, but watched tournament. Can't wait to return to Clubhouse and look at the artwork.

I attended a wonderfully organized banquet here today. The food, staff and everything was fantastic!

Wonderful facility and staff. Great food. Spent my grandmother's 90th birthday there for brunch. Everyone was very welcoming and we enjoyed our time. Would love to get out on the golf course one day to try it out.

We volunteer for the BMW ProAm Golf Tournament and one of the perks is being able to eat at the club house. The staff is so nice and the food is great. They do such a good job having different themes and a wonderful variety. Their food actually has flavor.

Stately, if a little stale these days, with well appointed grounds. The staff was fantastic and the food was...fine: well prepared, flavors were good. I certainly can't complain, but I won't rave either. I can remember a time when this was among the pinnacle of hosting spaces: the food, the grounds, the ambiance, it just oozed class. But with so many options popping up in Greenville these days, it feels like the bloom has come ever so slightly off of this rose. On the whole, Thornblade Club still provides a lovely evening and if you have the chance to go, it's still worth a visit, if only to…
