In summary

Pebble Creek Golf Club offers a well-regarded layout with two distinct courses, Linkside and Creekside, providing a variety of challenges for golfers. The clubhouse is noted for its friendly staff and Southern hospitality, though some visitors report inconsistent course maintenance, including bumpy greens and worn tee boxes. Additionally, there are recurring concerns about slow pace of play and negative interactions with certain staff members, which have impacted the overall experience for some guests.

This course clearly has a lot of history and was likely beautiful in its prime, but today it appears to be in need of significant investment. The greens are inconsistent, with bumpy rolls and varying grass conditions throughout. Several areas of the course are thin and show signs of deferred maintenance not mention rickety bridge crossing. I visited specifically to evaluate whether I wanted to purchase a membership. My first impression was mixed. The gentleman behind the counter was professional and helpful, but while I was being assisted, another member walked in, interrupted the interaction,…

Pebble has been an average good price course in the area. It was rough a few years ago but has come up a bit in conditions. The greens roll fine, but I wouldn't consider them spectacular. The fairways were not well defined or different much from the rough. The tee boxes are rough in a lot of places. Overall, though, it's a nice layout. The carts are decent, and the pace of play is usually quick. Scores out of 10 Club house 6.6 Carts 6.8 Tee boxes 5.9 Fairways 6.2 Greens 6.1 Course Layout 6.7 Pace of play 6.1 Overall: 6.42 / 10

My husband, brother, and myself went to this course for the first time yesterday. My brother just recently made the golf team at his school, and we wanted to take him out for a few swings. We were excited to try out this course, but the excitement was cut short!! Before even getting to the first hole an older gentleman stopped us. To cut it short he was harassing us, and being INCREDIBLY AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE! I wanted to turn around and get our money back immediately, but my brother wanted to move forward and I didn’t want to take that away from him. But WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! If you are first…

Nice course. Pretty well kept fairways and tee boxes. Greens are still really sandy, have the weedy grass, and bare burnt spots. Carts were clean but outdated with no USB power plugs/screens. Need to have water stations on the course for sure on hot days. Clubhouse was nice and accommodating, extremely friendly staff and clean facilities. 27holes so nice options there. But still questionable in the price for the updates that need to be done.

Volunteered for a Pickleball Tournament at Pebble Creek. What a great group of people, both people in charge of the activities, prizes, raffles (many really nice prizes) and the members. Everyone is nice and welcoming. Th Pickeball courts are well maintained. I gave 5 stars and well deserved.

Howdy, golf enthusiasts and fellow patriots! Let me tell you about a golfing experience that'll have you grinning wider than a Jack-O-Lantern on Halloween. I'm talking about the legendary Pebble Creek Golf Course, nestled right here in our beautiful backyard of South Carolina. This place is a slice of golfing heaven, and I couldn't be prouder to share it with y'all! Now, Pebble Creek isn't just any golf course, folks. It's two courses in one, like finding two prizes in your Cracker Jack box! You've got the Linkside and the Creekside courses, each with its own unique charm and challenge. It's…

$65 is an absolute joke for this "golf course" The fact that we had to sit for 15 minutes every hole while watching people hit 4 tee shots and 6 putts is crazy. The course looks like the grounds crew hasn't been around for weeks. People working are rude. My favorite part of the round is when I left the lot

Extremely slow pace of play. Took 2:38 to play Creekside, the easiest of the 3 nines. No marshal in sight until 4:40 when a marshal approached us and said play is suspended at 5:15 and no more playing after 5:15 get the carts back. Also, on a Saturday with a full course, bar closed at 4. So we finished our first 9 and were out of luck for refreshments. Tee boxes were beat up, greens rolled ok. Berkshire 9 is most scenic. Will not go back.

The course itself is in good condition. I have played this course over 50 times and love the layout. The grill has some pretty good food as well. BUT on this particular day July 17 2025 at 3:30 Twilight play time the front desk attendant was super rude and confrontational with me because I asked about the price. It wasn’t the same from last month and he snapped at me and said stop asking so many questions either you’re going to pay or not. I was confused on why he was so angry about the statement. I was right the price was lower last time and he was the same one I paid last time. It made for a…

Played a few days after heavy rains. Course appeared to drain well, but the greens felt kinda spongy, and hadn't been mowed. Greens were a little slow and bumpy. Overall, staff is friendly, pretty good value, really like the Berkshire side

One of my favorite local courses to play. Usually not too crowded, so the pace of play is good. Docking one star as some amenities (the water stations) are in a bit of disrepair but there are signs of improvement.
