River Ridge Golf & Country Club

First time at this course, I had fun for sure. Definitely a difficult course, but it was a great time. The pro shop gave me a wrong handed putter and a defective driver in my club rentals, but other than that my time there was pleasurable.

Lovely course, can't ask for better views within city limits. It's punishing, but fun! All the staff are very nice and accommodating, the place feels like home. Shout out to Travis the GM, Austin in the pro shop, and Doug and Mo the Friday evening starters!

Pretty nice course with good views of the river. Love the sunset views while golfing, especially when it's calm. Marshalls could have done a better job pushing the pace if the slower people in front of us. Was about a 5-10 minute wait at almost every hole. Cart paths are pretty bumpy.

First time playing River Ridge. Hidden gem. Challenging course with plenty of water and sand hazards. Beautiful views of the river and valley. Wished we played earlier in the year as the course started winter and greens were terrible. Will play again next season.

The people at the pro shop were great, the Marshall at hole one was great, the views were great…and that’s about where the good stuff stops. Really should have read the reviews before I booked here. Went out as a group of 4 and after the second hole we were told we were two full holes behind and asked to skip a hole. We were surprised but obliged and skipped hole 3 only to be waiting behind two other groups for the remainder of the day. Every hole after we would pull up and there would be a group hitting and another waiting and then us. There was no cart girl/guy but saw about 3 different Mars…

My boyfriend and I got there at 7:26 pm to inquire about a membership for 2026 as we live in the area. We also had our clubs to enjoy a basket on the driving range before the sunset. We were rudely told the range was closed. I mentioned the website says open until 10. And we were paying for a babysitter to be answered with “well we close an hour before sunset” my boyfriend had asked why a guy in front of us was getting a basket and going to the range, she said “he’s staff, he’s allowed” the young man must have felt it wasn’t fair because as he was listening to our conversation he decided to wa…

Cannot overstate how profoundly disappointing it is to golf here. The course is well maintained and in a beautiful location in the river valley, but management can’t seem to stop themselves from overbooking. Last I was here, I was waiting 10 minutes on each tee box until I finally gave up on hole 14 and went home. Marshalls don’t seem to have any effect and would rather socialize with other golfers than try to improve pace of play. Truly saddening for such a great course.

River Ridge is a beautiful gem of a golf course. The proximity to the North Saskatchewan River combined with the excellent maintenance of the course make for stunning views and great play on every hole.

The course is in good shape for early season golf. Driving range, practice chip and putting spots. Only thing i didn't like was the 7 hole is beside the driving range so there is some balls from the range on the fairway.

Definitely my favorite course in the city! So gorgeous and well maintained. The greens are always in incredible shape and the staff are so friendly. Always seem to see lots of wildlife.

Great course for the money and location! Would recommend to any golfer looking for a fun course within the city.

Waited 10 minutes on every single hole. Just for the Marshall with a rude demeanour to come up and rush us, saying we can hit when the guys in front of us are 200 yards out. Sits, waits, and watches us all tee off. Like move on..? Here is a picture attached from a hat hole as we were waiting on 2 groups in front of us on the same tee box. Was also scammed on the rain check. $100 round and I was refunded $28 after golfing 10 holes. Poorly ran club.
