In summary

Riverside Golf & Country Club is widely praised for its beautiful course design, challenging layout, and well-maintained greens, with many appreciating the attentive staff and excellent food offerings. The club's setting, though in an industrial area, is described as a peaceful retreat. While the majority of feedback is positive, some visitors have noted occasional issues with service speed and course maintenance, such as high rough and grass clippings.

Had a great time visiting and playing 18 in November. Jason took good care of us.

Went out for a round of golf yesterday. This was a really nice - and pretty challenging - track. Had good guidance from the member who invited me to play, so that was a definite advantage.

Riverside kindly hosted the OGA tour this year, my first time playing the course, and I cannot say enough good things about the course condition. The greens rolled beautifully, as advertised. The course design is wonderful. My interaction with staff was very limited, but zero complaints at all. The neighborhood surrounding the course is a touch on the rough side and on the 12th green/13th tee you could hear quite a bit of general yelling and profanity from the neighboring jail, but aside from that, it's like an island of relative peace and quiet in a busy industrial area. That being said, I'm…

25 for dinner. Decorated beautifully. But when we got our dinner orders the three children's were forgotten. When we mentioned it to our waitress we were all through eating, and they finally brought out the children's dinner that was so hot they could barely eat it. I think they forgot that was part of the order. The bartender worked his phone more than the customers even though he had credit cards there for open bar for the people. It just could have been better

The Golf course is amazing, the country club and the members are a first class organization. The food is world class awesome. Your next event, party, reception, banquet should be at the Riverside Golf & Country Club you will be a satisfied and happy customer and people will talk about your event for a long time.

Most liberal woke country club in the Portland area where members drive around with homemade BLM signs taped in their Subaru windows. They should rename the place Holtmann Country Club because they are the only people that matter out there. If John didn’t like you he would determine you ineligible to play in the Thursday and Saturday pot games even though you pay the same monthly dues he does. In 2020 during Kerry Holtmanns Presidency she decided she needed to be working the men’s grill all 365 days of the year. Driving absolutely everyone (members/staff) crazy. She was going to save the wor…

For the past 3 years in late Spring and Summer, a former co-worker and I play this course once a month. We chose it as it is about halfway between our residences in Vancouver and Puyallup. Always have enjoyed the fast greens and the challenges of the overhanging trees along the fairways. This past May our round was not fun. Not only was the rough high, it was covered in 3” to 4” grass clippings. One inch off the fairway and your ball was buried in the rough and covered in clippings. Really frustrating. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and our post round late lunch is always great. Hopef…

What a hidden gem of a course. If you are into course design you see the Chandler Egan influence and similarities to other courses in the region. The course was in great shape today. The greens are among the best I’ve played in the Portland area. The fairways are not generous but fair - you need accuracy off the tees, and can’t just bomb it. The fairways are tree lined but the trees seem to be spread out enough to increase playability. Similarly the underbrush is kept down between the trees, also increasing playability (this part is reminiscent of Waverly). There was rain today and that may ha…
