In summary

Riverside Golf Club is appreciated for its enjoyable course layout, well-maintained greens, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The staff generally receive positive feedback for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, some guests have experienced issues with the pace of play and interactions with the marshals, which have detracted from their overall experience. Additionally, concerns about dynamic pricing and course conditions, such as unplayable bunkers, have been noted by some visitors.

Decent course, fun hole designs, but a lot could be improved. Fairways were nice, greens were ok, although your ball was covered in green fertilizer every time you putt. A few things really ruined the experience though. First, the Marshal. We were on hole 9 when this guy rolls up. No wave, good morning, anything. Just "You guys need to quit screwing around and pick up pace. The group in front of you is already on the next green." and drove off. Ok, so I looked at the time...we were 1:30 into our round, finished the front 9 in 1:40 (we did a 2v1 scramble). What kind of pace are you expecting?…

We really enjoyed this golf course. Fun layout. Friendly staff. Fairways, tee boxes and greens are all in real nice shape. Challenging course. Very fair prices. Hidden gem! Will definitely be back!

Course layout very fun to play. The greens are in great shape! They roll true. Not too fast or too slow. Fairways are good. The course needs attention on car paths - ball cleaning stands- cleaner carts - sand for carts. Great price. Will be back.

Finding a local course to play a round with my local friends was fairly reasonable coming to Riverside Golf Course. The environment and the people here are down to earth and respectful when it comes to sharing the course. Definitely been coming back for that quick afternoon round. Come check it out, the price and course is amazing.

Course is much better than some of the reviews we had seen on the web. Greens were very nice and the rest of the courses was not in bad condition. Not too hard, but some holes quite tricky when playing of the black tees. 18th is quite a finishing hole, that can easily shred your scorecard (as did with mine) after a few holes before are birdie holes. Staff was very nice and helpful - will be playing it again if/ when in the area.

Y’all the bad reviews are from less than good folks. This place is the perfect golf course. You just can’t beat it. The managers, club house, course, and prices are just phenomenal. Damon is an excellent guy and there is literally no where else in the metroplex that will let you on the course for the price. If you miss the good old days of golf and you want to enjoy your day. Go see Damon and the team at Riverside Golf Club. I mean $50 bucks for a membership with unlimited range balls and discounted rounds of golf is just un heard of. Go see them. You will not regret it.

Clubhouse staff was fine but the course is not the greatest and the course marshalls are overtop and not on top of the pace of play. We were followed for slow play for 3 holes. Guy literally told us to keep up after watching us wait 10 min on a tee box so as not to hit into a group who spent all that time hitting ball after ball 150 yards from us in the fairway. Then searching the course for their lost wedge. Almost got into a cussing argument with him. Won’t go back. Not worth the money when there are so many better options.

Absolutely Terrible. We encountered the rudest and most clueless Marshalls on this course. Harassed our group all game , with no one in front and no one behind us, and under pace for a 4 hour round . The other Marshall ? We turned the corner at the turn and he was too busy burning plastic foot mats and with a grease fire from the hot dogs. Not the first time it has happened , I’ve had Marshall’s drive and park up to you waiting for you to hit the ball . Who wants to golf that way? The course is extremely mediocre and half of it is falling in the Trinity . There are too many better options i…

Mary, thank you very much for the round of golf you provided me & my friends visiting from Minnesota yesterday. They will be going home to shovel snow this morning but they had a wonderful time at Riverside. I'll be seeing you soon. And thanks to Danny Walton for the fine condition the course is in.

Booked a Sunday tee time at Riverside GC which I just wrapped up with. Tee time 11:37 AM finish time 5:43 PM Pace of Play is a foreign language here. The two groups in front of us had a 1.5 hole gap in front of them the entire time. There was not a single shot all day we didn’t have to wait on. We tried calling the pro shop or flagging down a marshal, no answer. I will say the course is in decent shape and is a good course for beginners where you can evidently take as much time as you would like. Other than that, at its $77 price tag , it is incredibly overpriced. I will not be back here p…

The course is very beautiful and is a tough course. HOWEVER, the pace of play is horrific and it took me and my partner 2 hours to get to the 4th hole and we spent most of the time waiting around. Ended up leaving because we didn’t want to play for 6 hours. Waste of 75 bucks. Enforce pace of play and it’d be my favorite course for the price.

Really beautiful Golf Course! Came here on my vacation. 55$ for 18 holes and a cart is a very fair green fee. The greens were my highlight! Fast and really good! Thank you!
